I had the pleasure of spending some time with Keanu last Sunday in Indianapolis at the hotel we were staying at. We spent about 15 minutes just talking and it was an amazing experience for me and I believe for him as well. He really is such a nice guy and I feel like we really connected. I never once thought about asking for a picture or talk his movies. We were just two people taking. I hope one day we meet again to continue our conversation.

My introduction to Keanu was point break . That’s my top 10 movie . So when speed came out it was a no brainer to watch it . Most people love him in matrix and John wick but to me imo point break and speed is my Keanu movie .

Easy to follow his train(s) of thought - off the tracks straight into a field through some woods and back onto the tracks. de Bont wore a wonderful outfit with great shoes, seemed relaxed, and seemed at ease on stage.

This movie stuck out so much in my mind that when I was looking for a hot date to my reunion last year, all I could think of was Keanu lol. Very few men are in the 4H-Club like my father - "Handsome, Humble, Honest & Honorable," but he passed muster. Sandra was amazing, too!

Jan de Bont, "a mad genius"? As a DP, sure. I mean, Die Hard + Red October + Basic Instinct = we get it man, you're fucking GOOD, like hall of fame good. As a director? Nope. But he seems to be a very nice person.
@SCharlesDennicon Speed and Twister are entertaining and enjoyable movies. Those ideas came from him, those choices, so he is a “mad genius” in that sense. If a movie is suppose to tell a story and entertain (also making a profit doesn’t hurt), then yeah, he is a good director. I miss when movies were more fun and not so serious. Sounds like you like more pretentious directors, which is your right since art is subjective, but your criteria is not the same for everyone.

This is the first interview that I have seen of Keanu and Sandra that they are not flirty. Even in all the interviews when they were promoting the Lake House even though she was married to the love of her life. Here she tried a couple of times but he shot her down. I guess Alexandra most be a really jealous woman and he abiding by her rules.

Since they met she started the brain washing she knew his past that he was a vulnerable man I am sure she was the one that made the first pass at him and than used the tactic to reel him in of kill him with kindness. And she has also changed some of his interests too taken him to Art Galleries, opening that book Publishing Company, writing books I always have known he likes to read books. It was an awesome movie without a doubt but its hardly worth mentioning anymore because Reeves has surpassed with John Wick and The Matrix. Bullock surpassed it with future gigs before becoming an Oscar winner.
