- One of the newest Pelikan pens to land into the pen world is the M600 Art series collection featuring Glauco Cambon’s 1909 poster design for the brand. Throughout the barrel’s design are swatches of color that mimic the water movement seen on the right hand side of the poster. The barrel design also reflects light, which results in a three dimensional effect.

I've always wanted the M600 Black Tortoiseshell. It still is one of my favorite pens to look at in the light, but it was just way too light!! I expected as much. But with this Glauco Cambon...that weight issue was remedied and the length and girth of this pen is just perfectly fine! This pen is a winner for all M600 lovers who just wanted a bit more weight in their M600s. SOOOO SOOO Happy with this purchase! Thanks for sharing your journey with this....if Joost hasn't bugged ya...perhaps it is now yours! It’s a great weight for this pen, perfect really! If it could be mine, hahaha, that would be cool but I’m not counting on it! Joost is a giving guy but not that giving! 🤣
Nice pen, thanks for sharing the video and some pen close ups. I need to explore using Pelikan fine but have very much enjoyed OB and Broad and the odd Medium. The steel nibs are well tuned also on the 200 series pens.

Hi, Vanessa! Snagged this one as my Christmas gift-and it’s my first ever Pelikan! Mine is EF and inked w Diamine Astral-writes like a dream and shows off the ink’s shimmer consistently. It has been my go-to alongside my Estie Botanical Garden w a journaler nib. Also, I love, love, love Juicy Broads!!! Haven’t caught any of your lives yet (time difference, I live in Manila), but I’m hoping to next time. 💓

Vanessa, this was a wonderful video. I enjoyed learning about the pen and its connection to the artwork it was based upon. It gave me a better appreciation for the pen. Also, totally agree with your comments about budgeting and how one curates their collection differently as ime passes.

Welllll, it's nice to see your smiling face on the Y.T. . Your videos resonate with many, and when you're not posting videos as you may have in the past, folks notice. I usually check now and again. I figured you were busy with the Holidays, and such. "Absence makes the heart grow fonder” ... . Lovely pen. I can see this one being so distinct and nice looking, that might be all that is required for someone to pull the trigger on a purchase. I don't have a Pelikan, and as nice as that one is, I'd like to try a more standard looking Pelikan Souveran style with the stripes. Nice review, lovely pen. Thank you 🙂

As much as I love the M600, I agree that of this was an M800, it would be an incredible pen!

Nice video on a really special Pelikan. I am pleased to say that I purchased one from Appleboom and received it last week. I inked it with Diamine Meadow, and was curious to see what ink you would use. I think your choice of Herbin Lierre Savage is the better match, but alas I did not have that particular one. Again, thanks for the video.

This pen looks the best amongst my pelikan collection. It has like disco light effect under the light. This m600 is heavier than my other m600 such as black and red tortoise and orange vibrant. The heft actual adds more balance to this pen. This is a must have pelikan

Welcome back! Yay! And, what a lovely pen. It is true that how we think about adding pens to our collection changes over time. At this point, I've got an international collection, got gold nibs (and titanium), got most filling systems, most materials that interest me (except that Yard-O-Led sterling silver...) I've been cultivating interest among friends to whom I can give pens that deserve more use than I can provide. Now, it's about focusing on beauty. So, thanks for this review!
What up lady?! Did you get squirreled there for a minute?! 😂 I'm with you though: 100% quality over quantity. I'm so much more prudent about what I buy. Once in a while, I still fall prey to stuff I end up wishing I hadn't but not as frequently.
