It's a gorgeous house that they brought up to date. Did anyone else think that bold, geometric tile didn't really go in a modern farmhouse style? It looked too busy and harsh to me. I'm thinking a different black and white design would have looked better. LOVE the marble in the kitchen though.
I don't care what you say. I love their shows the interaction, .and exchange of ideas. It is a learning experience, if you listen close, then see the final product. Its great. Tarek teaching other people how to flip pissed me off. The flippers wouldn't listen and screw up the whole project. It was just ridiculous but good show. Christina's approach in her show is great getting the client's participation and her reception to their input is inspiring. I pray for each of their families good will for the future.

I have been watching several of their RUclips videos and what I don't understand is what they do with those beautiful cabinets and beautiful Countertops and things that are very nice. I live in Idaho and I would dearly love and feel very honored, to have many of those items placed in my home. It's sad to me that everything is just trashed and thrown away when there's so many of us out there who would dearly love to have those things.

This is truly a modern house. Too bad the backyard didn't have enough room for a swimming pool. That would've been the cherry on the sundae.

Why won't the kitchen cabinets run all the way to the end of the wall. That space could have housed another floor to ceiling pantry looking cabinet. Other than that the whole house looks gorgeous ❤️
It looks like they got prefabricated cabinets. They would have needed a custom cabinet in that corner for it to fit. They could have added a 12” or 18” cabinet but then that would leave an awkward 4” opening or so. At least now the buyer can add plants or a furniture piece
So... a black roof is a cool roof? PS - If I were spending a million for a house, I'd have wanted the bathtub placed a more relaxing or roomier way rather than tucked into a forgotten corner that provides no shelving to put candles or bath products. Geeze, for that money, tub area should have its own lighting and music. Maybe even a privacy curtain.
their are days were i think Christina pushes her opinions to far i honestly thought the fireplace was good looking enough with a nice white paint on it or the tiniest hint of cream warm hues on it with her plans for styling the room but i also i'm not fan of her whining about the fireplace it's not ugly sure that kind of style isn't for everyone yes it can even ugly as hell at times if the style is done badly but it's just a fireplace sure it's old fashion & not for everyone & that's okay but i do actually like some of the choices she picked for the house i just i don't know i like her at times & really don't in others i won't lie i'm not a fan of both of them but it's interesting how work together or not work together tarek & Christina but i've seen a looot worse in work team couples on shows were the drama seems way more important then the point of the tv show? not all home building or home decorating or both or similar tv shows like the channels this tv show us need that kind of drama at least those two try to keep it to a point sorry rambling i don't actually hate the two of them honestly but i do watch their show once in while here & there

They are in it to make money. Generic looking properties appeal to a higher number of potential buyers which drives up price. Greys and neutral tones appeal to more people. Buyers can always customise to their tastes and needs after purchase. I think Tarek and Christina spent more money and time fixing things and making the houses more liveable than a lot of flippers.

They added some "warm" details like wood features and light flooring that helped to stay a little bit away from the modern look
