Since the battery powered switches are 12v you can run a small wire to them from your trailers battery system and connect it/solder it to the battery terminals on the switches. Since they are touch screen style they draw a tiny amount of charge when everything is turned off, so if you want to keep them from running down the trailer battery when you aren't using the Black Series trailer just install a small "kill switch" on the battery (going to the trailer, not the solar feed side if you have solar chargers keeping it charged up!) to stop power to them when you are gone traveling other ways. No more searching for tiny batteries that are way too expensive for their size, and you'll be going Greener by not using them!
I am so sorry for what you are going thru.. cancer sucks. I'm stage 4 and the hardest part was telling my adult children... us moms hate to see our kids sad. 😢 sending positive vibes and big hugs!! But thank you for sharing your roadtrip... love to watch while I'm dealing with chemo! My dream is to roadtrip... until then I will do it thru RUclips! So thank you!
We're so sorry to hear that, Julie. We know chemo is quite difficult, so we're glad you have your kids to hopefully help get you through it. And then soon enough hopefully it will all be a distant memory and you'll be healthy and traveling wherever you please ❤️
Cancer is a horrible and pernicious disease that does not discriminate. My Father died of cancer of the lung back in 1968 he was 38 and I was only 14. I'm now 69 and I think of my Dad at least once every single day. He is still with me all these years later, I can hear his wonderful Jamaican accent and I am constantly reminded of the life lessons he was able to give me in our short time together. All I can offer you Eric is my heartfelt love and I know that Alison and your families will give you all the emotional and physical care that you need. All the best Wycliffe Barrett, Cardiff, Wales, UK
I posted a question a day ago about the Black Series camper that you are using and have noticed that a number of other viewers have had similar questions. Since my posting, there have been no responses to any of them. I am hoping that you will make a video that explains the situation with the Black Series camper. I am a regular viewer and think that your videos are great!
Hey Eric, don’t want to be a downer but today is the third anniversary of losing my mum and when I woke up this morning I thought of what you are going through. I hope your mum is doing as well as can be and you’re ok. It might sound weird but I really felt for you today as I really understand what you’re going through and I just thought I’d let you know. Sending love and support to you and your family from Britain ❤️❤️🇺🇸🇬🇧
Thank you. I'm so sorry to hear that you've been through this already. Hopefully your day is filled with good memories about the time you got to spend with her 🙌
You guys should come to Minnesota. Grand Marais and the North Shore of Lake Superior are beautiful. Also Minneapolis/St. Paul is a foodie town, you'd love it.
“Do your best, and forget the rest” Praying for mom and you both as you process and do what’s best for you right now. You have our love and support! 💕🙏🏼
I lost my father to COVID…the pain never passes, but if you referent on the good times…you smile & laugh more. Reflect on those things, as those things will make them most fulfilled. You’re in my thoughts & prayers. 💖💜💖
Really enjoy watching you two in action. just love your energy and getting things done. I am 82 this year so slowing down a bit, being an ex truck driver have obviously travelled a lot in the U/K and Australia, so it's great to see you getting out there. Also follow the Travel Beans with baby Noah. Keep doing what you are doing xx
Wrap a foam noodle or rubber around the lock so it does not bounce and scratch up the surface. You might have run tape or a zip lock on it. Or if you use a sheet of rubber, cut a slot and stick the hasp through it.
I’m so sorry to hear about you mother. My mother passed from pancreatic cancer almost 4 years ago. The pain never truly goes away but it does get better over times. Send prayers to you and your family.
I hope you don't take this the wrong way. My Mom died suddenly and I think it's a blessing that you have time to spend with your Mom and time to prepare for what's ahead. Bless you both. My prayers are with you.
Safe travels! I had to chuckle when I saw the plastic "woodgrain" cassette tape holder - a blast from the past! Hope you packed a pencil and some scotch tape for the inevitable repairs to your cassettes ;) (Continued prayers for your mom).
I lost my wife to brain cancer!! We had been married forty seven and a half years. The last day of June will be the the ninth anniversary of her passing!! That is still a very painful day for me. I lost my Dad first and then several years later, my Mom, but the hardest was loosing my wife. I guess that loosing family to death is just a fact of life, but that does not make it easy!! My son and my daughter along with my two grandchildren gave me a good Father's Day yesterday for which I am thankful!! My point is that, we rejoice at the birth of some one new and we lament the passing of some one close to us, but I have to live with it all, from beginning to end, It is joyous and it is painful, but it is all the cycles of life. Be glad you still have each other!!! TREASURE EACH DAY!!!
Quick pro tip: Don’t use an ice scraper brush on the paint or anywhere else on your Black Series. Find a soft bristle brush using a winter’s adjustable pole. That brush will scratch your paint.
Please don't feel like you have to entertain us with travel videos right now, you can always come back to that. We love your videos no matter what you are doing or going through. Please spend precious time with precious people cuz you will never get it back.
You are definitely not alone and it is ok to be sad. I watched my mom try and fight myeloma after being very active and then my dad with dementia. Just live each day with them, talk about the memories, that was one thing my dad could remember. Make new memories with them, but most of all it is ok to be sad and have those off days, allow yourself that time and you if you don’t feel like filming that is ok as well, we will always be here. Prayers to you and your family.
Eric, you guys are awesome. I work in the storage industry and also own a travel trailer. Pro tip, you should switch the lock on the front compartment to a disc style lock. They are more secure and can't be cut with bolt cutter. I've seen how quickly the lock you have now can be removed. My wife and I love watching your videos. Sending good vibes to your mom.
It's a really hard time for you to be going through. It doesn't seem possible, but eventually you will be able to look back on the good times and remember your moms fondly and without the pain of loss. All you can do is keep moving forward and live your lives.
I watch a lot of RUclips, and I always look forward to your guys videos every week!! I don't know why but it always brighten my gloomy mood. Thank you Eric and Alison for always putting out awesome videos🙏🙏🙏
I wish you many happy miles on your travels through the midwest.❤ You both have such positive vibes. Don't let anything take that away. My husband lost both his parents to cancer within 3 years when he was just about 40. He really feels what you're going through.
Hi!! I didn't realise that you had actually bought the Black Series. I had thought that a business had loaned it to you to try whilst Clementine was in the shop. Lots of $$$$$$$ been put into your little collection of vans and trucks 🌞👍
The locks you put on the front doors of your camper, anyone with a screwdriver can still break in. If you can, at least get a rivet gun and secure them that way if you can. Just something other than easy screws. This was something my dad taught me, and I'm glad he did. I've seen many campers broken into with a screwdriver.
A cassette player!! It reminds me of when my husband and I drove to Arizona in an old Jeep Cherokee. It had no air, no radio, and half the windows didn’t work. But we has a boom box with a cassette player. We had less than 10 cassettes. Aerosmith, ADCD, and Night Ranger are the ones I can remember. It’s been over 35 years ago. You put a smile on my face with great memories. Thanks 😊
That sounds like a toasty, but super fun trip! We're definitely getting a kick out of our cassette player, but very happy we have a/c and working windows for our adventure 😅
You guys are complete rock stars! You going through the trials and tribulations of life and still managing to get your videos out there for us fiends living vicariously through you. We love your adventures and we love you guys Thank you for always sharing your amazing content with us all❤❤❤❤
Careful with the cassette tapes in the sun/heat they can melt. When I saw you put that tape in, it brought me back to my first car! Sending hugs to you.
Eric i have been thinking about you guys too. My Prayers n Thoughts R With Y'all. I know this is the hardest part of life right now . Just know when U need a break we understand. We Love U Guys So Much n Only Want the Very Best, That U Deserve. 💕💕
I lost my dad to cancer in 98. I lost my mom to a variety of medical issues over 10 years. She passed in 2015. My heart go out to you. I will remember you in my prayers.
Not sure if you are still looking for a Colorado cabin or not? The channel "Til Further Notice" her parents are selling a beautiful place with RV hook ups in Colorado at 7K or so feet elevation. Her mother had a problem after surgery and cannot live at elevation anymore so they moved. Not sure about the price but they show it in the video that came out today.
I love you guys. U make my week. I'm so happy when I Monday comes around. I love that u r sharing this journey with me. My Love n Hugs Always Safe Travels Always. Mucho Love From Your Friend In Michigan Tam 💜💜
Do y’all own the black series? I thought y’all were renting? Thank you for filming even when it is stressful. I am differently abled so I am living vicariously through your videos. Will we see the scratch off state map again?
I thought the company had loaned it to them when Clementine was first in the shop. But then they put it in storage so it seems like it’s theirs? Also confused.
Appreciate you guys so much for taking us along in the fun times and very difficult times. I look forward to your videos every week. Thank you so much. 🙏 (Pop on up to MN, lots to see and do there!)
I would recommend getting some sort of cord lock over the master lock. Those locks specifically can literally be hit once with hardly even any force and pop right open! theyre about as bad as it gets as far as masterlock goes.
Very sorry Eric to hear about your dad. I’m 65 and have lost father and countless friends to cancer over the years. Hang in there you two. You have a great wife to lean on. ❤
You two are so much fun!...even in difficult times. Family is everything and prayers for your mom. Also, did P90X awhile back, lost weight, got in shape and needed shoulder surgery! Be careful!
Thanks for all your fun informative content. I just wanted to thank you also for tip on when your lights in the camper would not turn off . That just was happening to me tonight in my new van! But then I remembered your video and thankfully was able to fix it. You saved me a sleepless night-thanks!
I just realized im sitting here watching people clean out a trailer on RUclips and im enjoying it,lol 😂 You guys are fun to watch and I just wanted to let you know that your mom is in my prayers 🙏
I’m so happy yall are at least getting some travels nearby in while going through everything. I can’t believe the double whammy y’all are going through.
I love your down to earth videos. You are a lovely couple. My prayers to you for strength regarding your parents. By the way I love your plants, such a homelike feeling they give.
For a less bumpy ride you might need to replace/upgrade the shocks. If you get air bags it might help with the weight of the trailer bringing the rear of the truck up and down.
So many nice plants, lights, and a dream clean RV to carry you to your next adventure! Wow! Hugs and positive thoughts back at you. Yes, I'm going through a different kind of health situation with my husband that took a bad fall Friday and now unable to walk. We have a plan though...and LOTS of friends and family for support. This should be only temporary, but still a challenge. But that's life...

Did you know that some machine when you just slowly pull up the rope and let go the rope the machine will start without you having to forcefully pulling it when trying to start it, this form is used with many machines and chainsaws, handy little tip for people. 😉👍
FYI, I would get yourself a more heavy duty lock for your compartment. Would only take a few seconds to cut that lock you showed. Best wishes to you and your family, and safe travels !
Love following along with you guys; through joy and pain, sunshine and rain. Love yr tape collection - and yr stellar music selection overall - the funky stuff that you bring often and the Afrobeat in this episode - awesome! :-D
If you renovate a house, I hope it has a decent amount of land so you can store all your vehicle-like things!
Oh ya, we pretty much only look at places with huge lots (and no HOA) so we can park everything there 🚗🚙🏎🚚🛻🚌🚐
@@Theendlessadventure Ya no way in hellfire would I want to live in an HOA !!! The Karen’s in the wild live there. Ewww
We don’t have HOAs in New Zealand - they sound 🍌🍌!

same... can't imagine the company would loan it to them for so long--that thing isn't cheap.

Sending hugs right back girl, and thanks for sharing you guys didn't need to tell us. But will keep you both in my prayers ❤❤
You should find a way to wire all those switches to a 12 volt battery or to the 12 volt system on the Black Series.
I'm amazed someone gave you a trailer and it's been just sat there.
Almost Instinctive at this point to immediately click on the notification when I see one from this channel for a new video 🍀
Best couple ever. We get only positive vibes from you guys. God bless. Love from India.
You guys should come to Minnesota. Grand Marais and the North Shore of Lake Superior are beautiful. Also Minneapolis/St. Paul is a foodie town, you'd love it.
I just put sand in 1 gallon milk jugs. I said jugs. You can use like dumbbells' or a barbell with spring clamps and a old broom handle.👍👍👍
Big ol’ virtual hug for you guys. ❤
“Do your best, and forget the rest”
Praying for mom and you both as you process and do what’s best for you right now. You have our love and support! 💕🙏🏼
Love you guys! First time I think I’ve ever seen Allison really annoyed, at 8:42! 😂
😅 ya, ooops! It was a stressful day, to say the least 🤪
With Eric around I'm sure there are plenty of annoying times!😂
I lost my father to COVID…the pain never passes, but if you referent on the good times…you smile & laugh more. Reflect on those things, as those things will make them most fulfilled. You’re in my thoughts & prayers. 💖💜💖

13:59 It’s odd the initial build didn’t include a lock for outdoor components! The company should have thought about that!
You two are awesome. Love to watch you clean up. Exercise too. ❤❤
I was addicted to Project Runway for a while. I felt like I could sew after watching one.
You may want to replace the Phillips screws with security screws for the locks!
I didn’t realise the black series actually belonged to Eric and Alison…thought it was a loaner!
Allison, I don’t understand how you’re able to wear jeans in the summer heat and humidity. I’m here sympathy sweating with you!
I hope you don't take this the wrong way. My Mom died suddenly and I think it's a blessing that you have time to spend with your Mom and time to prepare for what's ahead. Bless you both. My prayers are with you.
I’d for sure be stocking up on those batteries. They seem pretty important.
Safe travels! I had to chuckle when I saw the plastic "woodgrain" cassette tape holder - a blast from the past! Hope you packed a pencil and some scotch tape for the inevitable repairs to your cassettes ;) (Continued prayers for your mom).
Big hugs to you both love you guys and praying for you both and your families.
Do you own this Black Series camper, or is this a promo loaner from the manufacturer or retail outlet?
We were wondering the same thing.
I lost my wife to brain cancer!! We had been married forty seven and a half years. The last day of June will be the the ninth anniversary of her passing!! That is still a very painful day for me. I thought you guys just borrowed the Black Series? Did you wind up buying it?
Big like 👍. Black Series is ready for the road.
Quick pro tip: Don’t use an ice scraper brush on the paint or anywhere else on your Black Series. Find a soft bristle brush using a winter’s adjustable pole. That brush will scratch your paint.

Woot woot Endless Adventure to watch on a Monday. Bonus

I watch a lot of RUclips, and I always look forward to your guys videos every week!! I don't know why but it always brighten my gloomy mood. Thank you Eric and Alison for always putting out awesome videos🙏🙏🙏
16:10 I LOVE that you all have a cassette player!!!
Huge virtual back at you guys! ❤️
That transition at 11:50...👌🔥
I wish you many happy miles on your travels through the midwest.❤
You both have such positive vibes. Don't let anything take that away.
My husband lost both his parents to cancer within 3 years when he was just about 40. He really feels what you're going through.
Lol! You’re washing your trailer with a snow brush! It’s designed to brush snow 13:09 and scrape ice off your windshield!😂😂😂
*huggles* I somehow missed your last chapter. Just know that your in our prayers and sending comfort to you all.

You are good people, God is with you in your struggles.

Back in Black... Series 🤟🤟🤟 You are now pros at getting things fixed so I'm sure it will be ship shape soon
Hugs and good vibes right back at you guys! ❤🙏
Family comes first. Enjoy your time..
Careful with the cassette tapes in the sun/heat they can melt. When I saw you put that tape in, it brought me back to my first car!
Sending hugs to you.
I would order those batteries in bulk online so you always have some in the rv.
Eric i have been thinking about you guys too. My Prayers n Thoughts R With Y'all. I know this is the hardest part of life right now . Just know when U need a break we understand. We Love U Guys So Much n Only Want the Very Best, That U Deserve. 💕💕

Get a bigger scrubber for Alison for the outside. That little brush makes ten times the work.
I have these weight at home...just love it!
Oh my God! I was obsessed with Bush as a kid! I love your old cassette tape holder, my grandparents had the same one! 😅
This video was so relaxing, I don't even know why haha. Much love to ya guys. Happy and Safe continued travels. 😊
Just to say mum are your best friend nothing can beat that ❤
I love you guys. U make my week. I'm so happy when I Monday comes around. I love that u r sharing this journey with me. My Love n Hugs Always
Safe Travels Always. Mucho Love From Your Friend In Michigan Tam 💜💜
Y’all inspire me so much. Working through family health challenges. I love the black series and look forward to the next video.
Virtual hugs to you as well.🤗🤗
You two are so much fun!...even in difficult times. Family is everything and prayers for your mom. Also, did P90X awhile back, lost weight, got in shape and needed shoulder surgery! Be careful!
My heart goes out to you. Stay strong
Take care you two! Love following your adventures! 🥰
That was cute cassette tapes. And it's working good.
Thanks for all your fun informative content. I just wanted to thank you also for tip on when your lights in the camper would not turn off . That just was happening to me tonight in my new van! But then I remembered your video and thankfully was able to fix it. You saved me a sleepless night-thanks!
I dig some of that almost fusion (original old type) music. Back to chores
I just realized im sitting here watching people clean out a trailer on RUclips and im enjoying it,lol 😂 You guys are fun to watch and I just wanted to let you know that your mom is in my prayers 🙏
You guys are such an inspiration Sending you big hugs from Florida!
I’m so happy yall are at least getting some travels nearby in while going through everything. I can’t believe the double whammy y’all are going through.
Also re: going north- please visit Duluth MN. The north shore is one of the most gorgeous places I’ve ever been.
I love your down to earth videos. You are a lovely couple. My prayers to you for strength regarding your parents. By the way I love your plants, such a homelike feeling they give.
12:40 thats a snow removal brush, not a wash brush....
For a less bumpy ride you might need to replace/upgrade the shocks. If you get air bags it might help with the weight of the trailer bringing the rear of the truck up and down.
I how it feels when you loose a relative like your father or mother. Be safe in your travels. Walk in Peace.
Good work on the storage compartment!
Sending positive vibes your way!
Well done you guys, keep going, I know what it's like,.
One day at a time ❤
I was THIS/CLOSE to posting last week after the survey about coming to Iowa! I can't believe y'all were an hour and 1/2 from me and I didn't know! There is a castle lookout in a park in Clinton, Iowa that looks out over the widest spot in the Mississippi river.
Keep us posted how your workouts go, Eric! You look great already, so I can’t wait to see all the muscle you out on! 😊
Dude, project runway?
I have checked my man card policies and have found that to be a clear infraction of policy.
Strongly recommend having your T levels checked.
I chose the option of touring the Midwest, just because I thought that was the best for you!
Excited to see if you guys make it up through Dubuque. Thanks for keeping it real and being vulnerable. Sending you guys loads of support from Iowa.
Did you know that some machine when you just slowly pull up the rope and let go the rope the machine will start without you having to forcefully pulling it when trying to start it, this form is used with many machines and chainsaws, handy little tip for people. 😉👍
Rough roads and bumpy ride. Have you looked at replacing the springs and shocks. Should fix all your problems.
