Best documentary EVER. I love how Tyler just plays around wit his words, he doesn't consider himself on a high level and just spits whatever comes to mind on whatever beat or instrumental, and people interpret it in the deepest way possible, even tho that's not what hi music conveys. He's just out there being himself and enjoying his art of expression, such a genuine and real artist. I love this fa#got stg
My Name he stopped doing what got him noticed tho. and that was being dope and edgy. he went soft af. he would of been bigger then xxxtentacion and suicide boys to this day if he kept up his dope style on his first 3 albums.
eat an ass yo he's found his wings. You can usher him to be that same angsty kid anymore. Like he said in "what the fuck right now", he cashed his first check and said fuck depression.

20:36 On the right you can see the backplate of the _Knifonium,_ an electron tube synthesizer by Knif Audio from Finland. Really cool to see it appear in this documentary. I've met the guy who designed and built that synth, he's a basic humble Finn who has an amazing grasp on electronics and just likes to build awesome stuff like that.
I love seeing tylers creative process as well as those little clips of jus random stuff he be doin jus day to day so when I found this video it was like I struck gold
Im not even gonna lie I'd be tearing up if i was in that room hearing something i wrote being performed a string section. Tyler is really an inspiration.
People bought this for $100 and now it's on RUclips for free. I know what pain you're in right now. I bought Brooklyn 99 box set the day it came out on Netflix
Well if im not mistaken, there were a very limited amount of physical copies and that was going to be the only release. So many people wanted to see it but were afraid no one would post it.
I feel like P and Tyler are both very stubborn creatives and they want things to sound perfect, so neither of them want to compromise. But ultimately I think Tyler loves Pharrell enough to trust him to do what he feels is best.
Its kinda sad how tyler thought cherry bomb was gonna change his career and it should of because I think its as good as flower boy which is the album that changed his career
@@alecbarney6760 I would say that production-wise, Flower Boy and WOLF are the richest and the most appealing to an entire audience, whereas IGOR and CHERRY BOMB are much more original, but the production reaches back into SLIGHTLY lower quality while still being catchy and intriguing. CHERRY BOMB and IGOR are my personal favorites!
It would've been so cool to see a "Bastard" or Goblin" Documentary or at least rare footage of the making of those albums .. but hopefully we get to see a Flower Boy doc
You will. Hard work pays off if done, and if done uniquely and properly! Just be yourself artistically honestly. But find ways to make your music profitable and know some business stuff too (unless you want to be an artist just for passion).
I remember watching this in high school and wanting to become a music producer someday. Tyler really inspired me and had me writing songs and trying to make sounds. Although I really failed myself by never going ahead and recording those songs then and letting them out just for me, now in college, I want to start pursuing my dreams and ambitions. I'm going to see Tyler live for the first time soon, hopefully, I won't fail myself ever again. I always was by his side when these songs came out and mfs was trying to act like they were different for not liking his stuff, like Cherry Bomb is one of his most authentic albums. I know he knows it too.

this video has taught me to be a perfectionist , in tylers song "Massa" he mentions he's always been a perfectionist and lil wayne mentioning how much of a perfectioned tyler . This has forced me to work my hardest' I'll be the greatest in my country , I'm leaving this comment here as a reminder and a promise for myself and everyone working on themselves , their goals and their lifes . Tyler’s voice sounded so smooth when he hit his naturally low register around 13:51 god I wanna hear that low voice with some of the soul music type stuff he does, instead of that falsetto he normally does
Tyler may not smoke or drink, but i'm guessing he's used acid. his visions and juxtapositions and color pallete is so homely. yet off-center. very reminiscent of Sesame Stree
An interview isn't the same as a documentary. I'd also like to see some footage of him working on SFFB, but I'm not sure if they put work into documenting that after they put so much work into this and ended up with a critically disliked record.
Nah the interview is not the documentary. And I don't believe the fact that Cherry Bomb wasn't well received by some would mean that they wouldn't do one for SFFB. I'm really not sure if he's doing one for SFFB however, even though it's one of his most acclaimed albums so far, it be sad for them to skip the opportunity. Illegal Civ has been hard working on their own docs and movies, so I doubt they helped with the filming and I didn't see them on the tour, maybe Mikey would edit. I did here rumors that Tyler had a video camera during the SFFB tour so maybe that was for a doc. This DVD came out in Jan 2017 so almost 2 years after the album dropped, so if there is a doc for SFFB we'd get that announcement probably around fall or winter.
I love this movie still watching it. The drawings for the cities 😂😂😂

I love this fa#got stg
if anyone is looking for the unreleased song “For The Time Being”, it is at 27:05
and at this same time earl making the complete opposite album
Such an intriguing dichotomy between the two.

love how this comment is right next to lil wayne's really inspiration quote
Tyler The Creator is one of the most intelligent artist in the world. He need to be acknowledged more.
Like he said in "what the fuck right now", he cashed his first check and said fuck depression.
eat an ass yo Even he admitted that he was tired of doing the same stuff all the time.
I especially like the part where he licked the vomit
Really, he doesn’t get attention, respect?
no bullshit i had tears of joy in my eyes when i saw the process of them producing in the studio, gathering ideas and stuff. THAT IS SO DOPE. I love music.
HOLY SHIT WAYNE ... that gave me the rest
Christopher G. nice pfp i love trav
Christopher G. but yeah seriously samee
8:17 them playing mario kart and Jasper comes in 1st, Tyler in 2nd and Rocky in 9th, best part I swear
this was the most unexpected beautiful doc ive ever watched no lie
Y.R dumb
I hate Liz "YR dumb"
35:28 One of the best quotes I've heard yet. Wayne is the goat for that 100.
I hope there will be an IGOR documentary just like this
More footage of Tyler and Rocky playing "Mario go karts" too

I love seeing tylers creative process as well as those little clips of jus random stuff he be doin jus day to day so when I found this video it was like I struck gold
Im not even gonna lie I'd be tearing up if i was in that room hearing something i wrote being performed a string section. Tyler is really an inspiration.
AJETT I started crying when I watched that part
People bought this for $100 and now it's on RUclips for free. I know what pain you're in right now. I bought Brooklyn 99 box set the day it came out on Netflix
Physical copy >>>>>>>>>
TheVideoInvader not worth 100$. free digital>>>>>> overpriced physical copy made to take advantage of idiots wanting tylers dick so bad.
Kieron Hoysted your first mistake was liking Brooklyn 99
Well if im not mistaken, there were a very limited amount of physical copies and that was going to be the only release. So many people wanted to see it but were afraid no one would post it.
PC is retarded and gay its how tyler makes his money to provide shit for you
I think it's pretty dope how Asap & Tyler be chillin. We need a Oddfuture Asap Mob album!
PLR 88 WANG$AP

It’s nearly 2025, this is still the best documentary to ever touch YT
I feel bad that his song with pharell didnt go as he wanted
is it me or did pharell give off the weirdest vibes with this
I feel like P and Tyler are both very stubborn creatives and they want things to sound perfect, so neither of them want to compromise. But ultimately I think Tyler loves Pharrell enough to trust him to do what he feels is best.
wow, okaga ca is my favorite on the album and i wanna cry seeing that master piece being crafted.
felicity cavazos yes that is like one of my all time favorite songs period
lmao ‘the week’

Mia Whiller You also look like a angel from heaven 😍 what's your Instagram
Its kinda sad how tyler thought cherry bomb was gonna change his career and it should of because I think its as good as flower boy which is the album that changed his career
Kali Uchis is officially my celebrity crush, her and Jorja Smith
Jorja!!!!!
@Odd Against us wait, who dating who?
Cherry Bomb was the perfect mix of old Tyler and new Tyler. Stylistically speaking it's his best album.
Agreed!!
It would've been so cool to see a "Bastard" or Goblin" Documentary or at least rare footage of the making of those albums .. but hopefully we get to see a Flower Boy doc
if I ever get to see Tyler in concert I’m gonna bawl my eyes out
Did you get to?
i hope you did , is a magical experience
lol I wish I could send you this video of me crying when I saw him😂
The way Tyler lives his life is so motivating, I wanna do this and I'm gonna try to do it.
You want to lick vomit off the ground? Go for it. Make sure you post it.
You will. Hard work pays off if done, and if done uniquely and properly! Just be yourself artistically honestly. But find ways to make your music profitable and know some business stuff too (unless you want to be an artist just for passion).
@@historyianbrazilian4987 thank you!!
I always loved 2Seater from the moment I first listened to it and seeing this made it so much better. Tyler is truly a genius
35:20 this literally sent chills down my spine
9:44 lmaooo once he said "Jiggy" the impression was spot on.
6:49
Is that The Amazing World Of Gumball in the background?? Mad respect for you bro ✊
His room is so messy n bright I love it.
35:21 "Work hard. Be somebody. Be something more than what you see in the mirror. Let the world be your mirror. Dont let them judge you, cause the mirror cant judge you, you judge what you see in the mirror" -Lil Wayne
this video has taught me to be a perfectionist , in tylers song "Massa" he mentions he's always been a perfectionist and lil wayne mentioning how much of a perfectioned tyler . This has forced me to work my hardest'
I'll be the greatest in my country , I'm leaving this comment here as a reminder and a promise for myself and everyone working on themselves , their goals and their lifes . Keep pushing
❤
I would love to see a flower boy documentary
@scumfuckflowerboy
Anybody else gonna bump the fuck out the album after watching this ?
Isaiah Henson i've been but holy shit imma be bumpin it even more now fuck
listen to the album while watching,
Isaiah Henson getting my ass chewed out in a brothel right now guys be right back
Exactly what I did.
Ive played it two times since..
Was he making his iconic waffles at 10:05
nah sadly he put them in the toaster 😔
Tyler’s voice sounded so smooth when he hit his naturally low register around 13:51
god I wanna hear that low voice with some of the soul music type stuff he does, instead of that falsetto he normally does
EVERYBODY KNOW WHEN U PLAY MAREO GO KAWTS YOU PLAY MORE DEN 1 RACE
your from alabama arent you
N0 N4ME way off tbh
This was beautiful, this proves Tyler is intelligent and actually knows what he is doing
did that even need proving tho?
Mainly for naive people
Tyler may not smoke or drink, but i'm guessing he's used acid. his visions and juxtapositions and color pallete is so homely. yet off-center. very reminiscent of Sesame Stree
Zamar JNo-Finn You're so stupid. You don't have too be on drugs . Too view the world different as someone else
your name is stupid. and that's what most people believe, but THEN AGAIN, most people aren't creative savants
hopefully there is a flower boy doc
Jrodthebeast1 oh boy that shit came out today
Bundee Waje If there is a flower boy documentary I will be so happy
T said the other day no flower boy doc, only the interview
I want an uncut version of Tyler with the string section. His face staring at each of the players was great
