I keep on asking myself why really not so totally good musians are more famous than a great musian who is some much better than the more famous people.
Graves is awesome. I was so glad I went to see the Misfits when they first came back out. At first, when I realized that it was not a full reunion (i.e., no Danzig)... I was kind of pissed, but I went, and Graves won me over immediately. He's an awesome songwriter and singer, and to be honest, I prefer his era in the band than I did Danzig's - I like Danzig better on his own.
Real talk. His improv might be completely unmatched. There are SO many different live versions of his songs cuz hes such a talented writer and vocalist, and he knows it. His confidence with his own material is fucking superb. He can just flow with it.
I grave was the best singer in misfits , I feel like a teen when I listen american psycho and famous monster , I M 51 now and today I feel like a kid again
He's actually made comments to both the negative and the positive on that. Back when he did the movie Perkins 14, he said that he would tell them no if they asked him. But, he obviously really enjoyed the last time he jammed with them and has said he will always consider them to have a deep friendship. I think he's beyond Misfits now. His writing and performance has evolved incredibly. I'd love to see the occasional reunion gig though.
He was the best thing that happened to the Misfits and they blew it. Those catchy, listenable songs could have and should have crossed over into mainstream success. They'd be in the Hall of fame by now if so. Sad.

Anybody know why, what it's in reference to? Heather O'Rourke died very young as we know, but I've never heard it had anything to do with drugs per se, rather it was toxic shock syndrome. Or am I way off and this song has nothing to do with poltergeist anyway?

Lyrics such as "Control the urge..." & "Locked in a world..." & "draining the infection" & "The beast is calling..." & "the beast in me" & others are clear indicators for me.

What a great performance. Graves has one thing over the majority of other punk singers - he can actually sing.
