can we just accept the 90s was the peak for us as species? thx
It was 1855............It was in 1855 that we were introduce to the first phophylactic, which was made from rubber as thick as a bicycle inner tube and custom made. We can't say the 90s because its your wack ass kids born in the 90s making wack ass beats and rap now.......DEL the FUNKY...This is dedicated to you wack MCs. But yes, 90s was my fav time especially underground rap scene in NY.
Old school was just something else. Nothing from today can give me those feelings
2022 and still bumping this joint....
👊🏾
Same here
Same
Fo years man, fo years
2024 still blasting it
Wow as a metalhead and listenning to this song, now I know the definition of FLOW. Outstanding.
Same the flow is insane
Metal has flow too but it's more the instruments
I began as a hip hop head and became a metal head later 😂😂😂 music is insane
Who still jamming this in 2020?!
Golden era of hip-hop forever!! Fuck nowadays rap.

Real hip hop never die bro

DUUUDE IKR
Man, they dont make beats like this anymore, dope ass beat and flow, real hip hop right here 🔥
the beats are great and gold like still get's produced
I hope that 90s style will return
I'm a massive fan of hip hop from the 90s. Lately i've been getting more into the underground scene of 90s hip hop and 'do you understand?' is by far one of the best tracks that i've heard. The beat is so great, has that soulful jazz infusion through it which just leaves me sitting here pondering on thoughts I don't usually think about.
+David Caetano
"Im a massive fan of hip hop from the 90". you not alonе man:-)
+grazer770 since 94 ? word up !! wow dude... you must be 40 years old.
+David Caetano i like your profile pic a lot, its skitz from the low end theory of TCQ right? i would appreciate it a lot if you told me where can i get this photo
+David Caetano found it already
David Caetano agree so much that I wish they had the instrumental
It's 2022 and I'm in the middle of China listening these beats in the evening when my city is entering in the lockdown for second time this year while world is continuing to move in old ways.
Beats are pure joy.
much love from Canada !!!
That jazz sample in first track is Just awesome
Yes it is. It’s Heather by Billy Cobham. The same track was sampled by Souls of Mischief for 93 til Infinity.🙏🏼
The Classics will forever slay the minds of its listeners
Hip Hop is a way of life, It's a vibration we all gravitate towards and rock to. Peace and love to all my brothers in this chat keeping the underground alive.

Amen, would love a fat one rn
Amen.
@Masiv hell yeah but getting baked sometimes is good
@Masiv 💯
Damn these beats n flow give me such a nostalgic feeling I can't even explain. It's such a bitter sweet feeling.
Perfectly worded, never even heard this before and it makes me reminisce
Exactly, you put my current feelings into the words.
Bittersweet is a great way to describe it, actually. Listening to Souls of Mischief - ‘93 till infinity is almost too painful for me to listen to because it sounds and feels SO much like a better time to be alive
My man, do you understand?
One of the illest eps ever released in hip hop. Absolute classics.
Thrust - Rage gives me the chills every single time. The beat is so raw its beyond comprehension.
Fucking fr I get that raw feeling from it and only real hip hop fans do
Canadian Hiphop music from this age has something special to me, Natural Elements is so sick aswell.
pretty sure the natural e's are from brooklyn
Ghetto Concept, Solitaire, Checkmate, Kardi (90s), Choclair, Socrates, The Rascalz, K-Os, Jellestone, Baby Blue Soundcrew and many more. Drake is about as soft as the T Dot has got.
@@DClean Thanks! Will look these up:)
Natural Elements are from NYC bro
@@DClean you know my bro 💯💯💯
So lucky to have this on vinyl. Keep bumping ✌️
Same
Bomb !!
Bro what? How??
Respect from Brazil, this song is eternal, ♥️♥️
classic! Thrust is definitely one of the most underrated MCs from Canada
Hes a professor now at the University of Toronto
He's from Toronto
When you click on those RUclips videos with the black and white vinyls and you already know it's dope and it turns out to be
Mad truth in this comment. Every time I come across a hip hop vinyl on YT I already know it's finna be some ol ill shit...
Yep! Now i gotta hit up discogs.

THRUST - Toronto Canada HIPHOP AT IT'S FINEST
I'll never forget what I went through in the streets , rap and hip - hop saved my life
Hello friends, I am an alcoholic who gets into a depressive state every now and then. I am in that very state and for some reason I always come and listen to this song, this version. I don’t know why but here I am. Been like this for about 5 or 6 years. I hope one day to not remember this song for it reminds me of a friend who died the same night I went to jail. It’s a dope ass song but I’m praying this will be one of the last times I hear it. If you see me comment it’s cuz I came back.
I hope one day to listen to this song and be reminded of my struggle and just smile at the fact I got through it alone 😊
I pray your doing alright 🫶🏻
I was supposed to live in NY city when i was 16, I am 28 now. My cousin lived there, he passed away. Idk what's going on with my life man. I'm just living. I miss all my dead homies. Why is it you miss the dead when they're already gone. RIP dad, you gave me alcoholism. Thanks.
What's your favorite alcohol brand

Old but gold.
Oh boy. I just remember the good old days comin home from school with walkman, listening to joints like this. ❤
one of the best hiphop tracks in both words & sound
I didn't know Canada had it like this much respect to the brothas out there
Toronto scene in the 90's was poppin
This is timeless, simple and raw.
incredible beat and flow...this is real hip hop
I'm not sure I ever heard this before, but it still manages to take me back to the mid 1990s. The jazz-infused hip hop and rap back then, especially the danceable party / club hip hop, is just a whole different atmosphere from the mumble rap. I especially appreciate the mix of vocals, the rap with some singing, and those harmonies.
To me, this is the epitome of a great hip hop song. Wow!!
damn i love these kinds of beats
Love the "Heather" flip for this jazzy, 90s-era boom bap. This style of hip hop will NEVER get old or dated with me (and other like-minded hip hop fans). Salute!
Hip-Hop from a bygone ERA.
Wdym Heather flip
@@BrennanShank-vc3ehHeather by Billy Cobham is the sample on the first track.
Brings back memories. I love real hip-hop
Ran into Thrust last year, he still got it. T-Dot represent!
Instru 💯 flow 💯 what more can i say?
Ah yeah , miss the 90s....
Lyrics 100!
one of my all times fav songs
Holy shiiiet, this is pure fire. Underground Hip-Hop in the 90's was of such a high quality.
2024 Australia! This is still ILL AF!
There’s a lot of racist against blacks in Australia. Been seeing a lot of that lately
Real Toronto.
Proud owner of the special edition red vinyl. one of my favorite tracks ever ! #classic hip-hop! 2020!
Groovin' 2023. Labor day weekend
this is the first time I've heard this song...an instant fan
Brings back thoughts of simpler times. Dope track that does not age.
Hip-Hop from a bygone ERA.

I always jam out to this song whenever I feel like reflecting on life it just has that vibe to it.
Right there w ya
The 100s - in the life of a Mack does that to me to. Made me get out of my house and just go for a drive once.
Best comment on here is the guy who said six years ago this sounds like a "skinny Biggie". He was right
its so accurate
hes
still right above u
best comment 3 days ago was yours
My RUclips was auto-playing and I had to open up my phone to see who the hell this was because it sounded like biggie. I knew it wasn't biggie, but had to know what I was hearing.
I hear no lie...
I liked all your comments to bring you back
One of the best record what I ever heard, mad props from Russia!
It's 2020 and I've never heard this before. This is damn good.
Hip hop will live forever
I was in the other room and thought that biggie came on rotation. Love this.
2013, I'm Tunisian ... and still listenin' to this dope
Yo wassup bro i'm tunisian too
2020 still bangin'
Almost closed the app, but had to admit defeat. You win again algorithm
Idc I'm glad rap sounds like it does today. It allows me to find smooth joints like this. 💯 this joint SLAPS!
Ah i love the Underground side of youtube. You always know its a good classic when theres a vinyl cover
Never beat that 93 hip hop sound
Pre '96 Hip-Hop 4EVA.
Srrrrriioussss.. oldschool that never dies! Great beat and flow!👍
Hip-Hop from a bygone ERA.
This jawn took me back to the early mid 90's era. This joint is a major go. Shouts to Toronto Canada underground hip hop is real there.
I love this song, Good music, good food and good winw
i need 10 hours of this injected directly into my veins
J'y retourne depuis le début, une tuerie 💣🔥👁️

C'est le feu
canadian rap in the 90's be the illest
classick
2020 and this song still the truth.
I wasn’t ready for this one.
😅 feel you
Indeed, yet it became one of those tracks that feels like knowing for an eternity so fast.
2021 and still in my playlist 😎
Golden Age of Hip Hop
This sounds like SOULS OF MISCHIEF 93 Til sample!(same sample) I like it! God I miss the good ol days of true hip hop!
Exactly was about to write it...But i was like no one heard it ?
Billy Cobham - Heather
I think this one has a better beat and stronger rap, but 93 to Infinity uses a much bigger hook, which makes the song. It's good that SCAM could go to the same source but not do something derivative with it.
get withdrawals if i dont hear these tracks often enough! even in 2020! Love Peace and Healing to all xxx
Now I can follow this one.
The thickest flow
Went down to a bowl of cereal.
A serial killer over a phone conversation
When his man invalid, a sour emotion
This goes down south, to the wicked and raw.
A wicker man who wanted you to ball.
listening in 2020, amazed i never stumbled across this before today, shit slaps !!!
Legend in the T-DOT great voice and lyrical skillz!!!
That West Coast vibe is ethereal. It's about the laid back lifestyle. It don't matter if you from the hood in Oakland, Vallejo, Pittsburg, Richmond, Hunters Point or you living nice in Simi Valley, Murrieta, Riverside or San-De, we all bump to the same vibe. And we do it ere'day cause ere'day it's something to do. This song represents that vibe. Now all I need is a couple of bumps, a couple of puffs, and a hit of that Martell Yak Cordon Bleu (Fuck Hennessy!), drop the top in my 450SL, hit the 1 on the coast from the bay to L.A. Mofo Cali!
Those horns are on point
This is that clasSICK materIaLL!
SmOOth & DOPENESS!
Peace!
good to see Toronto still had style at some point
good shit

This is boom bap at one of its best. & I listen to 90's stuff religiously.
So happy to find thrust for first time in 2020. I hear elements of both biggie and de la soul. Love to real hip hop.

This brings back memories of CKLN 88.1 Power Move Show, 107.9 Master Plan Show, 89.5. Ahhh man! Those who know, know...
Had this gem on vinyl back like 1995, wait still have my collection in safe mode storage
Where has old school been my whole life... the shit that slams
This is not ol school ;) its mid 90s hip hop aka golden era... ol school is a different term for hip hop (mostly 91 and years before)..just an info, no front.. peace and thnx for enjoying this perfect sound. Dj skeli :)

Real Raps Real beats. What happened to real BEATS?
Not a big enough soul and funk movement these days, to get the sickest basslines from. Not enough motivation for people to play an instrument, but I think this might be turning around. Anyway, there's a whole discussion to be had about this. It would make a good doc
@K4SET Try Projekt Strum mane
911 and the industry was hijacked by Corporate greed.
Funk jazz and soul will rise soon again infused into hip hop and it will breath again
People got less real.
