Best way to Level 50 in City of Heroes

I've been playing CoH on and off for years and this is my current favorite way to level characters! I retain usefulness in all of my parties, but get to still play the game. I collect experience, but also reward merits which fund my Enhancements and Recipe's once I hit 50.
