Thank you. I appreciate your attention. So far this is more of a hobby. Any knife is suitable for pickling. Best carbon steel knife. Stainless steel is well etched by electrochemical method. And carbon steels can be etched in acid and electrochemical methods. There are chrome-plated sheets. Chrome steel is etched well, but whimsically and unpredictably. There are a lot of variations. But etching can be done on almost any knife.

Fantastic
Thank you.
Fantastic work, is this your job or hobby? Very inspiring.
Which knife steel is best for etching? Subscribed👍.
How many hours does it take, to come til the end of that work?
Pretty good. Well done.
Thank you for your attention. I don’t remember exactly, I did this work for a long time. This etching takes several days.
@@KirillRunz ah, nice. Every single hour brought a further work step together and off course, it all was carefully done, until this lovely masterpiece got finiished.

Very nice 👍
This is beautiful what acids and solvent do you use
Thank you for your attention. In my work I use a solution of water + salt for electrical etching. Nitric acid 5%, for acid etching. A solvent such as acetone, for paint removal ... In my most recent video, I give clarifications in the description under the video.
