Good phobies come with time - My initial collection for the first couple months was actually really bad... :) Good matches are what we're all searching for though, sometimes they can be hard to find with levels being too high or low. 😅
Yea, honestly it surprised me that it died from that as well - Didn't think the Ginsting AOE would be enough with the debuff on it 😅 GG though, Fantome is so scary 🙂
Haha yea, it actually happens a decent bit at higher ranks if one player brings too many small weak phobies and use all of their unit slots - The opponent will just sit back without killing anything, summon huge threats, and then take over the board while killing all of the small stuff which is really hard to come back from.
Boss main advantages over Heavo 3.0 here is that his fire AOE is twice as strong and lasts for 2 turns instead of one, this essentially creates a 'don't stand here zone' on the board when you use it which would buy me time (which I was looking for since I wanted my Heavo back), he costs 1 key less allowing me to go Yeti, is a bit less weak to de-buffs (since his base attack is higher and the fire on his ability is too, which might have mattered here since they had Bad Omen), and most importantly his single hit damage is a good bit higher and more threatening - If Heavo 3.0 only gets one hit it deals 550 AOE damage (level 1, assuming the enemy stands on the fire) where as Boss would do 675 damage with his AOE (again level 1 and assuming they stay on the fire). Of course if Heavo 3.0 can get to do multiple big AOE hits on multiple enemies it does way more damage, but that didn't seem super realistic here. Usually 3.0 is a better build-around phobie since it benefits more from being supported with stuff like self-movement (Le Shovell / Fantome), buffers (Cupcake, Gonzo, Scritch) and mass displacement of enemies (Attractor, Akira) - Boss on the other hand is often a better stand-alone phobie in my experience. (I actually used to consider Boss superior in most cases prior to the nerf, but now 3.0 is more used since he didn't get nerfed and also got more great supports). :)
@@varynlied 3.0 would probably also have been strong in this situation since the enemy phobies ended up being grouped up (in which case his double hit can do a lot of damage), but Boss felt like the safer choice (and being able to go Yeti was also pretty good there since it countered the Whuffalo Will, which I wouldn't have been able to with Heavo 3.0)
Sometimes they can be pretty tricky to pilot since both players tend to have wide collections and you have to both being things that are strong but also not get countered.. That is kind of the fun part too though. :P That said most high ranking games aren't as complicated as this one, they often just come down to one player making a mistake or two (most common ones are misplacing phobies, maxing out unit slots with too weak phobies and playing too slow) and the other player punishing them and snowballing their advantage into a win from there. :)
Kind of figured - Anyone who has both that and Fantome are abusing it 😄 Still kind of scary with the KERBLOOM, a lot less dmg though.. Do you have buffers + aoe? Like Gonzo/Scritch/Cupcake? Those are so nuts with Fantome and a big aoe thing too
Underrated, unique and entertaining youtuber to watch play as well as how they think about their plays, also nerf fantome
This was a very entertaining match, well played
Another cool video
Its been long time ago since i cant even understand what are both player doing. very impresive gameplay for both of you 👍

@@ManInYellowPhobies well I agree with that, so for now I need to play it harder!
I was not expecting that my kerbloom will die😢😢😢 ,good game I used way too much keys and with wuffalo will was definitely a risk

19 keys banked is crazy

Why did you opt boss over 3.0? Id like to know

@@ManInYellowPhobies I see. So I'm guessing 3.0's fire wouldn't have killed the two enemy phobies here so boss really was a better option

Also I don't have kaboom😂
