When you were talking about how you even wanted to be an animal around kids at school...it made me think of this girl we called "Cat girl" in elementary school. I'm 30 now btw so long time ago. Anyway, me and my friends liked playing as velociraptors or horses at home together but knew we couldnt do that at school/public setting. Everyone made fun of the girl who acted like a cat at school. Your story made me think, one - was cat girl the only one unafraid to completely be herself?...we all did the same thing at home but made fun of her for doing it at school..and two - is she now some badass, cool female just like Amanda, basically saving our animals and planet?
Also glad I’m not the only one who was like this 😂 a few of us in my class formed a whole ass wolf pack during recess it’s not something I tell anyone ever but this is a safe space here right?🙃🙈

Like, both girls and boys were doing it. There were enough kids to make multiple clans and extensive cat politics spanning many sessions.
