Same here, I’m in GA. It was supposed to rain today at noon, but nothing. Then at 5pm we got 2 lil drops of rain followed by the sun. I’ve had a very big huge turtle a few week ago that showed up at my front door. Yes, my front door. I had to force it towards the end of my lawn to move it closer to the water area we have 4 houses down. It was a struggle
Let's hope it rains tomorrow. We need atleast 3 inches. I was so happy to see the turtle but he froze when he saw me. Once I left and come back, I could see him hurrying to the back of the yard. Too cute
Georgia 8A and we didn’t even get a whisper of rain. They said we’d get some last night but it didn’t happen. I’m watering my containers weekly and I think I’m going to st watering every thing else twice a week. It’s been a long time since I’ve had to do that. But it’s bad.
Dry here too in Madison MS. We’ve not had a decent rain in over 2 weeks! And it’s super hot…over 90 degrees every day. What has been happening is very very short showers and then the sun immediately comes back out. It’s like a steam room and many of my plants’ leaves are scorched from being wet and immediately exposed to bright hot sunshine. 😣
He was probably looking for water. Could put a little out for him in maybe a plastic lid or something. I leave water in plastic lids out for the praying mantises near where they hang out like under plants.

It's been really bad for us for sure in 8a. Hopefully we get something by the weekend.

I'm in southeastern NC. We haven't had rain in almost 2 months.
My goodness.. 2 months? That's rough. I hope you get some soon.
Turtle is looking for water. I’d put some out for it.
I wish I gave him some but I went inside and when I came back he was gone
I think we're entering into a drought. Not only have we not had much rain but it's also been HOT! I'm zone 7b.
True. The heat is not helping at all. I hope ypu get some soon though.
Smoky Mountains here 7B. We haven’t had much rain either but I think we got a couple hours last night.
That's good to hear
Maybe put a shallow pan of water out for him
That’s what I was thinking. Is there any water in your little ditch? He might need water.
No rain. Crazy! We need rain! 7B
