  • Join us for this wine country video series, a picturesque journey from the buzzing streets of San Francisco to the tranquil charm of the Wine Country in northern California. Our first video starts at the airport and lands us in Petaluma. As we kick off our adventure from SFO airport, here's a pro tip: keep your GPS handy and follow signs to Highway 101 North for a smooth exit out of the airport hustle.
Our first stop? Downtown San Francisco! Zip through the vibrant cityscape, catching glimpses of iconic landmarks like the historic Ferry Building and the bustling hub of Union Square. The Transamerica Pyramid building is still my favorite.
Next, we're heading towards the legendary Golden Gate Bridge. It's truly an engineering marvel, and from it, we can enjoy breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay and the rugged coastline.
Then, we turn into the charming waterfront town of Sausalito. It has a scenic promenade and marina and a few streets lined with quaint boutiques, art galleries, and waterfront cafes. If you have time, you can abandon the car, hop on a bike, and pedal along the picturesque waterfront bike path for some Insta-worthy pics!
As we continue our journey, we detour to Tiburon, a hidden gem nestled along the shores of Richardson Bay. Explore the quaint downtown area adorned with colorful storefronts and charming cafes. And hey, if you're lucky, you might even glimpse the majestic sailboats gliding across the bay!
As we wind our way through the scenic roads of Belvedere Island, prepare to be mesmerized by the sweeping vistas of the San Francisco skyline and the tranquil waters of the bay. Keep your camera ready - you won't want to miss capturing those postcard-worthy views!
And then back on the 1010 until we arrive in Petaluma, our first destination and home base for the wine country tour! We really enjoyed staying at the Hampton Inn and got ready to explore Wine Country for a couple of days. From world-class vineyards and tasting rooms to charming downtown boutiques and farm-to-table eateries, the wine region has something for everyone.

I definitely try to cut the stop lights and traffic. I've recently edited it, so there is a bit of a continuous drive, but if that makes it awkward, perhaps I'll only cut it when I come to a full stop. Thank you for the feedback. I'm always unsure when I'm in a city with so many red lights. Easier on long road trips.
