If you're in the US, the LA Colors Glossy Lips Moisturizing Sheer Lipgloss is EXACTLY like the old elf Jelly Pop glosses, and they're 97 cents at Walmart.
@@lynettefinnigan9540 I definitely realize how fortunate we in in this way (and other ways, too), especially being a person who doesnt have much disposable income!
In my experience the pot concealer can look heavy/textured on the undereyes but it’s awesome for spot concealing over pimples. A lot of coverage and doesn’t budge. But you do have to have a hydrated base underneath (thicker moisturizer or slippy primer) if you’re putting it over dryer skin or blemishes, or it can cling to dryness like you experienced. Personally I also use it as foundation on my nose on fuller coverage days because my nose is so oily that most foundations don’t sit well on the pores or wear well. The concealer looks really smooth and even, and again doesn’t budge. I love it but you do have to learn how to use it ❤
I LOVE shop Miss A. Their lashes are amazing! I’m not so into their premium $5 lash, but the AOA $1.88 lashes are my fav! I love the lash glue as well. I also like a ton of their hair clips- they have the flower hair clips are nice & big & come in great colors. They have great silk or satin scarves that are really pretty.
Super underrated product is the AOA studio pimple patches! I’ve used so many different brands (hero, zitsticka, cosrx, rael beauty etc. etc) and nothing compares!
I love a lot of the tools like eye strips, that hair wand for your whispies, the tweezers... I like some of the AOA blushes and one of their bronzers. It's really hit or miss but it's only $1 (or less) and I just let the kids play with what I don't like.
Thanks lauren. I’m so strapped for cash and have always loved shop miss A recs from Taylor Wynn . I want to thank you for doing this! So much good stuff ❤❤
Taylor Wynn has some shop miss a videos too. She's a huge fan and she uses affordable makeup a lot (and not just for views. She actually loves a ton of affordable stuff), so I really like her opinion!
My order arrived as I was watching this. Got the cream blushes in vanity and duchess. Got the bronzer in canal (not orange... Think it'll work for me). I was using their foundation stick in amber for a cream bronzer, and it is really nice on me. That was sold out when putting in my order so I got that shade in the stick concealer. Got a few glow babies as well. My Moira order also came, so I'm happy as a clam swatching as I watch. 💕 --klarissa
I love the AOA Hush cream blushes, and the ones that come in the little lip gloss like tube. The Pop gloss is nic3, but i find the lids break quickly. Oh and the single shadow Saint is a really nice taupe shimmer.
I like the AOA gel lip liners, AOA Sunday afternoon eyeshadow quads, and the AOA Tropical Sierra pressed pigments. The lip products are definitely hit or miss but most crème formulas are ok. I also still like the AOA Halo highlighters and the AOA Wonder baked single eyeshadows. Looking forward to more thoughts on these products.
one of my favorites from aoa studios is there mascara, the orange pink and yellow ones are literally amazing, and i’m pretty sure they’re tubing mascara which is also awesome
I like the cleansing balm! It's over $1 for sure (they have a travel one for around $1) but the full size is $7-8 and pretty decent! Seconding the shadow sticks being kinda trash.
Paw paw sponge for life. Got my first pack a few months ago && I’ve Nebraska loved one more, including beauty blender. I use it DRY for concealer per Taylor Wynne’s advice which i couldn’t imagine working and it’s beautiful. So glad I tried them && you get 6!!
I really like the plush blush in the shade cumulus for minimal makeup days and the eye makeup seal is a decent mixing medium. I've heard that the wonder primer in the illuminating shade is a decent strobe cream dupe but I haven't tried it myself.
The freckle pen is actually good for doing eyebrows, I bought it specifically for doing my brows and I'm a taupe/blond brow person. The cc cream is great, as well as the vita glow tinted moisturizer. The no pore primer works well and the aqua primer is a nice light moisturizing primer. Tall lash mascara is fab, as well as fat lash mascara, but I prefer the tall lash mascara personally.
i get a lot of things from shop miss a like the bath bombs, the period pads, the sponges, and the incense on repeat (when they have it in stock-- I find the period pads are often out of stock). I had a horror story of a foundation from them though and tended to stay away makeup-wise since. i buy mostly skincare/home/life rather than makeup but I wouldn't be opposed to trying again and revisit.
Lauren! The slim brow pencils are uh may zing for the price point I hope you tell errybody! Also can you try the Fairy Garen eyeshadow quads? Annnndd the AOA flawless liquid foundation!?? 🙏
I really love a lot of their AOA products! I there's some hits and misses but most of the things I enjoy. The cream blushes are great and I only buy their beauty sponges.
I also have the wisp purple mascara, i primarily use it on my lower lashline on a pink/purple/or blue look, it makes a nice accent! also, I absolutely love their liquid blush. the packaging is so cute it looks like a nail polish bottle
It's amazing how many more products they have compared to when I did this video! I really like a couple of their brushes I was really surprised by the quality, and of course I use the paw paw sponges daily😊
I love the sponges and so many of my brushes are from shop missa also!! I haven’t tried a lot of their face products but I enjoy their eyebrow pencils as well. Their cleansing balms and pimple stickers and constantly getting restricted in my skincare collection also
When you do your full video on this, could you compare it to the nars potted concealer? I love that but hate the price. I have acne scarring all over my face and use that to create a good base
Have you ever tried the Stan’s Out Sponge? If you haven’t and like squishy like memory foam, you’ll LOVE the Stan’s out sponge because it literally is like memory foam and works sooooo good! At first I honestly didn’t like it but I kept trying it to give it a shot and after about 5 uses, I fell in love and now it’s pretty much only sponge I use! (Just repurchased it for the 4th time). It’s pricey ($20) for me because I never felt spending a lot on a sponge was necessary (I do love the AOA sponges), but then I tried the Stan’s out and can’t go back 😂 I always grab them when they’re on sale on Amazon or the brand’s website, so it’s not as bad and they last a long time so for me, it’s totally worth it with how long they last AND how well they work. Blending out everything beautifully!
Okay PLEASE update on the cream shadows, I'm sitting here with my finger poised to buy the whole line. The card information is ready, the Paypal is logged in, please give me the go-ahead
I just placed my first order from them a few weeks ago. I got the AOA CC Cream in Fair. I really like it for a no makeup look. I got some lipsticks that were disappointing. Icky smelling and not great feeling on my lips either.
I can't believe i missed this! I love shopmissa for some stuff! The AOA lipsticks are super pretty! You should definitely try the taupe pencil, that's the one I use. They're not quite as malleable as say the persona or cp brow pencils, but they're pretty good! I love their lash glue, lashes, lip balms, empty magnetic palettes, brush soap, & sometimes they have really cute sunglasses! I also love the starry brand eye & lip liners as well as the AOA eye & face brushes! & I love the freckles!
I used to buy more products from Miss A, but they seem to have slowed down somehow. My favorite products are the wisp color mascara and the eye makeup remover pads.
I literally just made an order for the first time in YEARS, just a few random home things, and i was wondering about the quality of the makeup and skipped it, cant wait for your review
Lauren: "You think 'ooo I'm adding tools too my fingers'...no, you can do less" RUclips 10 sec later: ad for harbor freight tools! Me: Well this is...different.
Maybe look at their website. They have an explanation on their site of how they can make these products so inexpensively. One of the things I love about them is that they not only are inexpensive, but when they have something more expensive than $1, the extra goes to certain charities that they work with. Obviously, if it doesn't pass your own personal ethics, you follow your own heart, but for me, I keep buying some of these items because they are the best for me and my skin type and my makeup preferences.

97cents!!! You couldn't even buy the empty container for that anywhere else in the world.. you Americans are sooo lucky with cheap cosmetics!!

I’ve been begging Emily Noel to try the pawpaw blender for years!!! I wish we could open her eyes that there is a better than the OG beauty blender ❤😂

Would love to see another Mora video. You inspired me so I bought some. 🥰
Thanks for trying them for us...so much fun to watch. Will definitely be shopping MissA again now!
I accidently bought a Blue mascara from Uoma once. I was just so fascinated by the name, shiny Gold packaging and the Egyptian vibe of it 😅💙😅

I use the AOA translucent powder every day under my eyes! I have very dry skin so i like how it's only lightly mattefying.
Yes! Was hoping you'd try AOA I mentioned it awhile back! ❤❤❤ I love the velour highlighters.
I have the pot blushes and they are pigmented.
I've been using the shopmissa sponges since 2015 (the black ones)!!
When you do your full video on this, could you compare it to the nars potted concealer? I love that but hate the price. I have acne scarring all over my face and use that to create a good base
Heads up that the brown artista eyeliner can stain army green on light skin!

(Hack) You don’t have to throw out the purple mascara. Just use a ( sanitized) wand from another mascara you love.
I have heard many good things about their products. I haven't ever tried anything. Have a great week ❌️ ⭕️
Girl, why caramel?? That's the color I would need as a redhead! I would stay so far away from it when my hair is blonde tho 😂
I like the freckles on you.

Yay I’m earthy
