I found my 2 troll dolls at Ollie's as well, they were in the pillow sections. Staff had to look underneath the big pillows in order to locate them, because they keep falling to the bottom. The trolls were 4.99 each and they so had a princess for 12.99 each.
I always say Character baskets should start at $50🤷🏾♀️… it’s a different beast than just throwing a pack of jacks, beach ball, back pack etc. Themes have to follow through & you sometimes have to search for good items to go inside of these baskets. I saw a small duffel bag, basket ball & about 4 pieces of candy in Walmart today for $30 ($29.99). This child is getting a ball (that isn’t Spaulding) and a mini vinyl duffle for $30🙄. Lady evaluate your basket and charge your worth. If you feel like it’s missing something add something else that makes you feel like it’s worth $50. 2020 my baskets started @ $35 and they were not custom but range to $100.

Its ok to put peeps & chocolate in there, I use peeps in some of my baskets as well, but only as decoration. These new kids dont like them, not here in my parts of town.
I thought about adding chocolate to my baskets too but I decided not too... I'm afraid of this hott then cold the super warm, unstable weather and it melting. Would hate for a parent to spend that kind of money and then the kid can't eat the chocolate cause it's inedible. That's just my thought process tho.🤷🏾♀️
@@forevercocomonroe969I'm not a basket maker/seller, but I am a would be buyer, gifter, and a donater. So I've been watching to get ideas for donations and gifts. I only do man crates for Christmas. Also, I'm in the north. We're still getting snow, and our warmest day this year was 33° which is only 1° above freezing. So, I cant relate to temps above 86°, this time of year, which is the melting temp for chocolate. No candy, or food in general, should be kept at temps that warm. 65° is the standard food storage temp, to keep foods fresh for longer. (Not a basket maker but I am a life long survivalist/prepper. When it comes to food storage and temps, I'm pretty knowledgeable.) Anyway, if your not storing it hot, chocolate should be fine. Chocolate bunnies are cheap too.
@Brenda Bodwin Thanks for your response and I definitely understand all that you said and where you're coming from....I live in the deep south and I'm also a licensed street vendor so I have to be very careful with putting chocolate in gifts. Although I do have tents set up if it gets really warm my chocolate getssoft and it melts sometimes...just this past Vday it was 80+ degrees a couple of days I was out selling so some candy did get soft and some melted...then a few days it was breezy and pleasant and the candy was fine. Hey Yummy T., if you have any teacher/principal friends or long time customers that work at a elementary school or day care ask if they can possibly get you some bulletin board paper in different colors to wrap your boxes (that's if they still have boards in the classrooms/schools there. That's what I've been using for my boxes. Great job, everything is beautiful.😍😍

GO Check your Walmart store.! They are $34.99 for nothing basically. The none traditional gifts are actually selling quicker for me than the traditional ones. They are considered Easter gifts !

They came out cute, I love shrink wrap too. To keep your crayon book from bending but cardboard in SIDE. And put a piece of cardboard behind it.
