Originally, I was planning to make this a Xbox 360/PS3 games video, but I wanted every game to be $10 or under. Ghostbusters is like $11 on PS3 . Originally, I was thinking about having eternal sonata or enchanted arms as the fifth game, but those games as well exceeded the $10 limit on both platforms so I kind of threw the last game there in the last minute. At the end of the day, I’m glad I focused on just the Xbox 360 because this will Segway into a future video that I’m working on that will discuss both Xbox 360 and PS3.
Great picks, PK. I enjoyed FF13 myself: it was my first PS3 Platinum Trophy. I appreciate seeing recommendations for *attainable* games over other videos that seem to bias towards recommending games that are impossible to get for a reasonable price.
Thanks man ! I really need to come back to Final Fantasy 13, it’s been great to hear how so many people have enjoyed it over the years. Exactly! I feel like hidden gems videos have become the norm and I wanted to celebrate games that are great that anyone can find for an affordable price.
I forgot to add a suggestion to the list: Alan Wake. It has been remastered but the original console version is only on 360. Not super expensive and an awesome psychological thriller for fans of X Files and Twin Peaks. Bioshock is another that has been remastered but is dirt cheap and still great on 360.
BioShock is a good one, I have that on PS3 I really need to play it. Same with Alan Wake, but I have the remastered version on PS4 instead of the 360 version. I’ve heard a lot of people still like the 360 version of Alan Wake though. I love Twin Peaks. I just recently watched the series last year for the first time.
The original version of Mass Effect is still an all time masterpiece and some of the best 5 to 10 bucks you can spend on a game. Also I stick by Ghostbusters on 360/PS3 being true Ghostbusters 3 and it is ridiculously fun.
I actually love Final Fantasy 13, but the sequel is better in my opinion. Playing it on the Xbox 360 isn’t a very good idea, though, but it is backwards compatible on Xbox one and series consoles, and on the series X and one X you can play in 4K without having to worry about the disc swaps and what not
I was so late in the game for the Xbox 360 that I skipped it completely and bought an Xbox One instead. I only have a few games for the Xbox 360 and all of them were no more than a few dollars. My favorite is Doom 3 BFG Edition since it has Doom and Doom II on it as well as Doom 3.
I'm not saying you have joined the wagon as you have been retro for a long time especially xbox360..., but strangely a lot of gamers your side of the pond have been going mad these last few weeks as if Xbox 360 is the new craze and you must grab these quick before the prices go up lol. Maybe there is some truth in that but it also feels like they are trying to force fomo and price hikes. Your not guilty though! Just an observation. 😀 Love Red Dead Redemption on xbox360, I was more into it than any other GTA game. And yeah the Zombie add-on stuff is really cool, adds another level of fun to a game that was already great! I bought the Good, Bad & Ugly movie sound track on CD and used some of the tracks as custom music when I was playing Red Dead, worked a treat!
Thank you so much! With this video, I really wanted to make the anti-hidden gems video. There are so many great games already on Xbox 360 that are cheap, plentiful, and affordable that are fun. I feel like so many RUclipsrs out there just want to drive up prices of games they already own in their collection. I think a lot of RUclipsrs are so fixated on the whole hidden gems craze that they’ve forgotten to celebrate games that are popular for a reason. Nothing makes me happier than when somebody watches my video and actually gets it. This is my favorite comment so far. Thanks again 🙂.
@@PKInTheUniverse Yeah I wanted to make it clear your not one of them. Thanks for your understanding. 😀 And yeah some of the cheaper games have loads to offer which is a bonus if your getting back in to a system. Reminds me of Sega Saturn when people think you must own obscure stuff that was mostly released towards the end of the consoles life and are high value..., Nah just give me Sega Rally & Daytona USA. 😉
Exactly! On another note I have zero regrets about getting Daytona USA on the Xbox 360 store, That is such a fun game. 7th and 8th Gen games are so affordable right now. Recently I picked up Final Fantasy XV standard edition for $10. That game is between 30 to 100 hours long depending on how you want to play it. I’m excited to try it out .
I'd have gone with Saints Row and Saints Row 2, Saints Row starts out as a GTA clone, but by 2, it has developed it's own personality that's so over the top. But, the 360 is the only place to play the first one, it never got ported to the PS3 or PC.
Good video probably around the same age, some of them games around game pass, , but don’t forget the greatest football game ever made NFL 2k 8 is still under 20 bucks! And you have to play it on a 360 I don’t even think it works on Xbox one, but it definitely doesn’t work on the series x !! Come on micro soft get it together!!
Played Mass Effect 1 on PC. From my memory, you constantly need to control your teammates, right? You have to give them orders, is that right? Like Band of Brothers kind of, right? If that's true and so present, I maybe think, Bioware is not my cup of tea: Mass Effect, Knights of the old Republic, Dragon Age. What do you say?

Good shout with Ghostbusters. Who ya gonna call? Keep up the awesome work PK!
Thanks man! When ghostbusters came out on the 360 and PS3 back in the day, it did not get the fanfare it deserved for as good as it is.

Absolutely! It really is .

I feel like everyone either loves or hates FF XIII, very little in between. That’s a great advantage with the backwards compatibility.

Can’t go wrong with Doom .
At least you got the "not a hidden gems video" part correct.
I’ve heard Need for Speed Most Wanted has some cool additions to the game on Wii U.
I love the Wii U, I really need to get that version of the game.
Your recommanedation for Action RPG in the art style of Final Fanatasy, Metal Gear?

Most Wanted already got expensive in my country. I've loved Underground 2, but I don't like MW aesthetic.

I like to focus more on one character. GTA V alsowas too much. I like San Andreas and IV in that respect.😊
Actually this was 7 games! I want my money back!
They were bonuses tho
OMG NOT HIDDEN GEMS????????????
I want hidden gems!!!!!
