Opponents facing Chris: OMG this guy is a freaking magic genius. I must concede in response to the gap of intelligence between us. The Dingus: Oh look, accidental genious.
It really only takes 1 hit for any walker to get compleated. Unless they can get to a cure before it progresses too much. Knowing that the Phyrexians were expecting the Walkers to some extent it hardly feels too improbable that she got infected. Especially when considering that the entire plane belongs to the Phyrexians, and Lukka got compleated via bonding, so it's not impossible that something similar happened with her and the leylines.
Omg I accidentally made this deck yesterday! I had portal to Phyrexia as part of a Chaotic Transformation deck and played a voice of the blessed from opponents graveyard. It got lifelink through Elspeth Planeswalker. When it attacked the laser went off and I thought…damn that was cool.
Alternate routes, for less colors: -Ethereal Escort (Enters or attacks, gives a card in your hand lifelink) + Heliod Sun-Crowned (you gain life, put a counter on a creature or enchantment). This pair makes the setup only take two colors, rather than four. Play the escort with AWBO in your hand, to give it perpetual lifelink, so you don't have to rely on a fragile creature on the field. Then it functions basically the same way. -Marauding Raptor (can be any damage source, this one just starts the ball rolling, too) + Bellowing Aegisaur (When this is dealt damage, put a +1/+1 counter on each of your creatures). The reason this one works, is All Will Be One triggers for each permanent or player you put a counter on. So The Aegisaur creates triggers equal to the number of creatures you control, and you just have to make one of the triggers hit it again to loop. This setup is also two colors. -Putrid Goblin + any mana-free sac outlet + Metallic Mimic (choose a type as it enters, creatures of that type enter with an additional +1/+1 counter) + AWBO. This setup goes red/black, rather than the white/red of the previous two. The +1/+1 from the Mimic and the -1/-1 counter from the persist do cancel each other out, but they still get put on the creature first. So each cycle of the Putrid Goblin dying and coming back is a double trigger of AWBO.
Man, All Will Be One activating from loyalty counters sent me down a jank rabbit hole like no other card has in a while.. So Nahiri, the Unforgiving costs 3ish (1RW and 2 life), enters with 5 loyalty, and her zero-cost ability creates a token copy of a creature or equipment from your graveyard. Shenanigans ensue. The exiled card needs to have a cmc equal or less than Nahiri's loyalty, and the token gets exiled at the end of turn, but there's quite a few creatures that enter with counters (especially oil), or proliferate (if a three color deck is acceptable). That's a lot of damage with All Will Be One. Notable cards that could probably fit into any Standard variation of Nahiri + AWBO: Iron Apprentice, 1, artifact creature, 1/1, enters with a +1/+1 counter, and gives all its counters to another creature when it dies. Axiom Engraver, 1R, creature, 1/3, enters with two oil counters and has a tap, -1 oil, discard 1: draw 1 ability. Atraxa's Skitterfang, 3, artifact creature, 2/2, enters with 3 oil mainly, but can give one of a few keyword abilities to a creature each combat. Steel Exemplar, 5, artifact creature, 4/4, enters with 2 +1+1 counters (if summoned with Nahiri) and has trample, 13 total damage if uncontested. After those cards, i'd say green has the best options to copy with Nahiri. Quite a few enter with 4 oil counters, and most of the proliferation is in green as well. With the proliferation, Nahiri can copy bigger cards, and the jank progresses. All of this to cope with Phyrexia now having taken my top 2 favorite planeswalkers, in Venser and Nahiri.. Hope y'all have fun with the ideas
@@coltonsmith3270 True, only found out about that yesterday, but thanks for pointing it out. So maybe not Nahiri for 3, though still thinking oil and proliferation might do the trick for Standard. It really gets interesting in older formats though, with stuff like The Ozolith. Then there's a nice infinite loop with Talon of Pain, All Will Be One, and any source of player damage (including another counter, for AWBO to trigger first). Otherwise there's "cute" stuff like Sun Droplet and Eternity Vessel, too.

If you go the Ex Blood route you can also include any of the "gain life, lose life" cards like Vito and Marauding Blight Priest, to make it a multi-pronged combo.
