I hope you're all having a fantastic 2015 so far!!
Zanzibar is a "paradise-like" island just off the Tanzanian coast. An island of spice and exotic aromas, sultans' palaces, harems, shining white beaches and fiery red sunsets.
The ancient oriental city of Zanzibar derived its name from its many old stone buildings. Charming and mysterious, they have witnessed much of the island's dramatic past and the tangled architecture of coral stone and shell lime serves as a fascinating backdrop to this colourful city that is strongly influenced by an Arabian way of life.
I visited over the Christmas to New year period 2014/2015, attended the biggest new years eve party at Kendwa beach and got lost on the legendary fairy-tale island of global culture. It's definitely worth a visit! :-)

What type of content do you make?
I started off with book reviews, documenting books read, vlogs, then, travel advice to places I have visited, now the channel is evolving to some PhD Vlogs/Advice Videos... now I plan to make an unequal amount of all :)

I'm a girl from Africa living in the UK, and doing a PhD at KCL.
