Leon you are a wealth of knowledge gained over a lifetime and proven by experimentation and comparison. This puts your advice a level above many . THANK YOU!!
Young people think they're so smart. But old people are so wise. I'll take wise over smart any day. Love you Leon. You're a true jewel to watch. "Gods love a working man." I love it when he says were gonna grow these as a "Bush type deal sort'a speak". Makes me smile. My kinda fella.
Your the best! Such a wonderful teacher, and you explain everything very well. I'm so glad I found you. I will have fun gardening this year. Thank you so much.
I remember that my Grandma always pinched off some off the blooms because she said that it would make those left grow larger. (?) it seemed to work. Thanks as always.
Thanks 4 your knowledge I've worked in a well known nursery in my area( Adachi nursery) years ago and still do my own veggie garden love growing tomatoes and trying out new types Well to many new varieties this year so this has helped in regards to determinat and indeterminate types
I appreciate so much the amount of knowledge you share with us. It is such a wonderful learning experience everytime I watch your videos. Your videos have motivated me to get in my yard and try growing vegetables. I am learning so much from you and so thankful I was told about your channel when I watched Arms family homestead. Thanks for the great videos.
Thank for the great info. Do you ever use the sucker you take off to make more plants? I root mine and use them for replacement plants or extras. Thanks
I would have loved seeing you harvest the tomatoes from episode 10 you planted in tall containers. What do you do with all the stuff you grow. Do you have a little Fruit and Veg. Stand there at your nursery or do you wholesale it somewhere. Love to see that also.
Awesome video. Thank you for all the information. My mom and I tried our hand at growing some a few years ago without much success. We did get a few tomatoes but not enough for all thr trouble. We will have to try it again.
Love your videos. I don't have much money to invest in all the odds and ends others use in their gardens... expensive trellis's, cages.... watering systems. I have followed your suggestions and got a good little fist bucket garden growing. I made a booboo and took suckers off my cherry tomato plant 😞 when I did my heirlooms and limited my production (got a six foot plant wth little product..I think)...next year 😉. But what I have gotten is delicious. Thanks much.
Thank you for such an information Leon. I'm writting you from Colombia, south america. My question is : CAN I GROW NEW PLANTS FROM THE RED DUCE FRUiT?? thank you again. Blessings
Sir, I have a question. I’m canning my own spaghetti sauce this summer. I am planting Roma tomatoes the determinant bush variety. HOW MANY PLANTS do you think I need to plant for me to be able to make about 25 to 30 jars of sauce?
Mr Leon, I'm a beginner wicking tub garbener and i'm having trouble, my tomatoes are beautiful bot no blossoms, and my cucumbers are light with lots of blossoms. can you help?
Hey Leon!! What is ur opinion of Supersteak Tomatoes? From growing to maintenance to taste? I was able to make my own version of self wicking buckets lol.
Hi, how to know by looking when you have a small plants. because I have seeds that is not specify by the producer weather its a determent or indeterment.
Thank you for this great explanation. I'm new to your channel and growing tomatoes. I'll have to go back to all your videos. My plant blooms then the blooms just die. Have to figure out what's going wrong.
@Patty....could it be there is no pollination? Chem trail spraying is killing the pollinators, bees, birds, butterflies. There is nefarious activities ongoing. I'll say no more. Where I am, I still have honey bees, but, a decade ago, in Cent. Fl., I noticed my old "Carolina fire flies" just disappeared from one year to the next, that quickly. Haven't seen any in a long long time up that way. The critters are being taken out of the food chain.
Well I do have bees, birds and butterflies in my yard, although I've never seen them on the tomatoes. I, too, am in central Florida. Thank you for your reply.
@@pattymagee1567 You are very welcome, Ma'am. Very strange, I'm assuming the plant remains healthy after the blossoms die. It's 90's already, so Leon might have your answer due To heat.
I was wondering if you leave the suckers on the bush tomatoes does that make for smaller fruit? We have always got the suckers off. I'm just wondering. Never heard of leaving them on. And do you only remove them from the tomatoes that you are gonna string up? Keep the videos coming I'm learning a lot.
Mr Leon I have a hard time getting anything to bulb in my garden. Radish, Turnips, carrots anything just wont bulb but they have beautiful tops. What can I do?
I use home Depot buckets. Pro tip : cut Bottom out. Roots will grow deep instill holes near bottom of bucket and slow water into holes. Force roots to grow deeper for water. Roots will grow done into the ground under bucket. It' works I manipulate my plants into becoming strong and powerful.
I watch everything Leon has to say. When a wise man speaks you should listen and learn.
Leon you are a wealth of knowledge gained over a lifetime and proven by experimentation and comparison. This puts your advice a level above many . THANK YOU!!

Once determinate tomatoes have produced and you’ve picked your harvest, is there any reason to continue to grow the plant, or should you pull it out?
Thank you. I always gain knowledge from you. I love the cherry tomatoes for salads and snacks. B

To much nitrogen will do that.
Beautiful foliage but no root crop.
If you are fertilizing for those root crops use a fertilizer with low or 0 nitrogen
do you single stem all your indeterminate tomatoes or leave some suckers?
