An aswer to people who are struggling with views after they started(including Mo) Usually we would say it is your video quality, completion rate and engagement rate to be precise, that decides how many views you get. If you are experiencing a low view I would say shorten your video, put more production value into it.

The reason being that my account has recently faced a slump in that I am not getting thousands of views like I used to and am getting very minimal follows. All my videos, including my first 5, have landed on the "For You" page and have a very high engagement rate of 17 seconds per each 15 seconds. If the artist is allowing their music to be used on TikTok, you can just use it. TikTok will block music not allowed. Your best bet is to use covers so you don't have to worry about your videos losing their sound later.

Are you sure about de-zombifying an account? I've tested this with multiple accounts each on a different phone (including Android and iPhone emulators on windows) and I always get views above 500. On one of those accounts, the third video got me 8000 views. My tests are not exactly matching with what you said here with regards to this subject can you please explain?
Put the video to private and try reposting it. Sometimes it has to do with the first few people who see it. If they don't engage, it won't go to very many more people.
