Ahhh man. I get the reason it was scrapped, it makes sense to keep it an arcade style game. I just wish there was 2 modes, one for story and one for arcade. With how much work and cool ideas were put into that, I'm a bit disappointed there wasn't any option for it. Nevertheless, a great game and very unique. Good job, Subrike!
I think this should never have been scrapped. Joy Kill is the best boss ever. In fact, we need more bosses like this, where it’s a boss form the original game, just in a different place, and a different strategy to defeat it. In other words, this was a big missed opportunity.
Frankly I'd agree that it would have slowed down the core gameplay but it would have been sick to expand the lore. Well done.
