One my '63 sunroof the two little rear plates face out so the bent lip dips down and covers the edge of the vinyl. Just sayin' . Really enjoy watching your build.
In a stock sunroof there are 14mm wide straps INSIDE the outer seams running along the full length of the canvas and hanging outside as to hold down the canvas and / or help lower the canvas to the roof. Did you use these, I did not see them? I know there is a hole for this in the back of the Bus(rivet), but where do you attach the front??
Great job installing our sunroof assembly! I really love the work you do
Thanks John, quality parts help!
Thanks for walking though the top install. Looks great so far!
Thanks for this. I’ve been thinking about adding a softtop to a 74 bus I’m restoring right now, so this video is really helpful.
Ice job, bus looks awesome

That’s what I was thinking too, once I can go to stores again... Thanks
Hello Mike Good evening, please, could you tell me where I can get these pieces of wood? I would really appreciate it.

What kind of glue did you use for the header bow and rubber seal?
Where did you purchase your canvas from?
Purchase from Grumpy’s Metals
