An easier version of the ubiquitous Prince Nymph that contains the same color profile but without those pesky biots to deal with. (We will get to them in a later lesson.
Hey Shorty. Great seeing you and your son at the show. The thing I love about your channel is that you remind us that flies don't need to be complicated or require a million steps to catch fish. There is a certain comfort in that approach. So thank you for that.
Thanks for your input. We have so many newer materials that are easy to work with these days I try to include them in my process and make others aware that tying flies does not have to be hard. We had a ball at the show and made a lot of new friends. Good to hear from you!
Glad you are back and sorry to hear you have had a little setback; good to hear your coming around. Very nice video and well presented for beginners and others who tie. Again, glad to have you back and look forward to future videos. All the best and God bless Chuck S.
I’m a big fan of simplified flies such as this, almost like “guide flies”. Also, it doesn’t hurt as much when they’re lost to the stream side, or stream bottom. Great videos!
Biot: “Why do people keep saying I’m pesky? I look so good, but nobody loves me.” Tyer: “Because you are pesky & cause a lot of dropping & fumbling.” Thank you. I love easy & effective substitutes. Be well.
Hey shorty! I really do look forward to these tying video you put out. Your beginner's lesson on the pheasant tail helped me immensely. I was wondering if you could do a beginner's lesson over the Wooly Bugger? I would love to see your take on the fly. Thank you!

Thanks so much, man. I appreciate your kind thoughts.
Great alternative material usage...I am not a beginner, but I am going to make some changes to my Prince nymphs. Thanks for sharing.
I am glad you enjoyed it. Stay tuned. There will be more along those lines coming up.

Thanks. I agree. I don't like spending a lot of time on something that is going to end its life under a rock.

Welcome back shorty.great pattern.thanks for sharing
Thanks. My hands were all torn up from eczema but now they are good enough to let me work.Good to be back.
Nice job thank you. it’s nice to switch it up once in awhile and if it catches fish too that’s a bonus!
Thanks. I am glad you liked the pattern. I was really skeptical about this one but it really does work. Hang a dropper off the back for added effect.
very nice
Thanks. I am glad you like it.
Ohhhhh. That hook 😅
Not sure what you are getting at, but thanks for the comment.

Yeah, I can do that. I have a few tricks you might like.
The Wooly Bugger is up.
