I have eyelash extensions and honestly the girl who did yours really did not add a lot of lashes!!! Especially for $200. I know a lot of the time it has to do with how many natural lashes you have, but next time if you go in for a refill ask to have a more voluminous style so she could add more :)
Hey Kalyn! There are other places in the GTA that do lashes that are just as professional and good and a full set is $100 and fills are $70-$80! $200 is outrageous!!
Not sure if you realized this, but the Kivik sofa you had from ikea is interchangeable. You can rebuild it any which way you'd like. You could've just purchased only the chaise lounge piece by itself and attached it to either end of your already existing sofa after removing the extra end piece you wanted gone. The light grey fabric is a removable cover. That's one more thing that's so wonderful about the Kivik sofa. You could've just purchased the darker grey fabric cover and swapped out your light grey one. Then you could change the colors of it back and forth for different seasons or whenever you felt like changing things up. You could've saved a lot of money by only buying the chaise lounge piece and the dark charcoal covers. I have this same sofa and that's what I do. I love it! Just a helpful tip for anyone who may already own this Kivik sofa or may be interested in getting one. They have numerous colors and textures of fabric cover options available to choose from. Loved this video and the new decor/look! :)

I stopped doing it because I hated that as they grew out the lashes would twist and whatever. However, I now use the Canadian brand Eyenvy, a lash serum, and my lashes are TWICE as long as they were with extensions, so I never use falsies either! You can see on my videos how long they became. It's only $72 for a bottle and lasts 3 months (better price point than the lash extensions). It's such a game changer! Look into it! xo

So in NY we have options for so much cheaper. It's usually 50-60 USD for a fill set. And they look about as full or even fuller. Prices are set by #of lashes. Minimum is 80 lashes and highest is like 110/130 lashes. Not sure of the conversion but it sounds really expensive for lashes. They look good though. I would say usually people get them done for events.
Can we all just take a second to appreciate the fact that every time Kalyn gets new furniture or moves it around her apartment SHE BUILDS IT HERSELF. U da real MVP gurl. That's real inspo right there.
As for the lash extensions: different salons definitely apply them differently. My lashes are much fuller with more lashes when I get a fill. $200 is standard for a full set, especially in an area like Toronto. You can always try a different salon next time for a fill and see if you think they make it more worth it!

I go to two places in Whitby which are fabulous!!! I know the drive can sometimes be a pain (I work in Toronto and live in Durham) but it's so worth it!!!
With lash extensions the more you get fills the bigger and fuller they get! I was bummed when I got my first set too! But as time goes in between fills, new lash growth comes in and that gives you stylist more lashes to add to! I really started loving them after my third fill. Also fills are way cheaper than your first full set. So worth it in my opinion I love them! Love you! PS, WHERE ARE THOSE SUPER DANG CUTE BOOTS FROM?!
I have the same skin issue as you talked about in your last video. I have found something that really helps with the bumps on my arms and my legs. It's the neturogena body clear body scrub. i haven't used the body clear body wash, just the scrub. But it really helps minimize them. When using this product it makes it barley noticable
Kristen Adams maybe try going gluten free. That reaction is very common if you have a gluten intolerance. Even if your blood test doesnt say you're allergic, it's quite possible that you are intolerant to gluten.
Hey Kalyn, I dabbled in lash extensions last summer and found that the first week was always amazing and I was obsessed with them but the time to upkeep them, the price and how long they lasted just wasn't worth it. I got lash extensions a few months ago before I went on vacation and I really didn't like them. I did like the way they looked, but I found it was more work to have to blow dry them after showering and be super careful what products I used around them than taking the 30 seconds to apply mascara. It was also super uncomfortable swimming because they got all heavy and felt weighed down and it just ended up being annoying while on vacation instead of carefree like I thought they would be lol.
Her lashes are so pretty! It's super helpful because I've been debating if I should get them so it's nice to see how they are and what they'll look like after a while
I loved your new sofa, I'm actually getting one too that's a sectional of sorts too. The chez lounge part is dettached, like an ottoman and the seats themselves slide so they kind of becoming like a chez on their own and I'm hyped about it!
