Zoltan's story | London's Air Ambulance Charity

In July 2022, while standing on a pavement in Mayfair, father-of-two Zoltan was struck by an out-of-control van. He was initially pinned against a fence railing before it gave way and he fell down a 10ft ledge into a basement.
With concrete blocks smashed around him, Zoltan was trapped in the basement area where he had fallen. It was clear that although Zoltan was awake and conscious, he had sustained a near complete amputation of his right lower leg.
London’s Air Ambulance’s advanced trauma team is dispatched to critically injured, like Zoltan, every day in London. But we’re a charity, with 96 per cent of our funding reliant on public support. Can you help us save more lives in London?

I'm just watching the episodes of Emergency that Zoltan was on. What an absolutely amazing man. The strength he showed thoughout his recovery is truly inspirational
