I appreciate the man's humility as he describes what he does and delineates the difference between skill and genius.

Right the easy thing would be to say "I don't know how I do it, I just can." and then people just laud him as a genius for the rest of his days but he says "No I just got good at this and you probably could too"

    So talented yet so humble.

I would like to see his actual method broken down & explained step by step. I think it's like a lot of impressive talents. A reliable technique + practice = WOW

His explanation about genius and doing a skill very well is spot on!

I'm impressed by the rate of calculations. He had to go through many steps in a matter of seconds. I'd imagine his skill can be useful in other areas. But really, his skill was most likely brought up by decades of learning mathematics. Anyone can do this with enough mental training. By definition, he is a genius of mathematics.

Don't get fascinated it takes immense perseverance to do what he does.

Such speedy and accurate answers to numbers calculations be it square root, square or raised to n the methods of calculating existed in Vedic Mathematics.

I wrote about this method in my books and on my RUclips channel InAMinMaths if you'd like to know how it works. It uses a combination of algebra (where he multiplies 24 x501 twice) and memory (giving answers names - eg Nero is 24). This method is for square numbers not for square roots as per the title.

True. I actually tried this myself and I must say, this is a pretty easy problem. 24x501 isn't hard if you know the technique, and the squares are really simple to calculate.

      Instead of splitting 24501 into 24000 + 501, I'd have used 24500 + 1. 24500^2 = 24x25 followed by a 25 and four 0s = 600250000, plus 2x245000x1 (=49000) gets 600299000, plus 1.
