    Portland in mo is 23 dollars a Bag, then the peat moss 10 a bag , perlite 10 a bag. So it's more the a couple of dollars. So around 50 dollars to get started.

    After adding water to plant it makes super heavy specially pea mod hold most of water

    please do not put moss around succulents, they need totally different living conditions to survive

      Generally into water, and then into the soil below wherever you have it.. You can fill it with water and pour it out multiple times, or else over time the rain will do it for you. It makes the ground slightly more alkaline. Some plants like alkaline soil, but succulents want it more neutral. Same thing happens when you pour a foundation for a house, for the first year you sometimes have issues growing some plants right next to the foundation.
