The Black Friday I loved died in the late 90s - early 2000s. Stores opened at 12am on Friday and the sales were so great that hundreds of people were lined up outside the store in freezing weather. I know in the big cities it gets crazy but where I lived everyone was civil and had a great time.

This time of the year always depresses me so much, esp with this being my son's first holidays. There's so many things we need on super sales and still can't afford it. These videos make me feel like I'm still able to partake in the festivities, and for that, I thank you! 💖

Aw. Times are tough for a lot of us rn. Have you looking at bargain stores? I also have a little one, sometimes I find good deals at Ross or Marshalls too.
@Breemi16 unfortunately no. Everything is so expensive we are just scraping by, lucky to be able to cover rent. Food banks are helpful. I know everyone is struggling with how expensive everything is getting it's terrible honestly
This time of year is about God and family….it’s about the love…..just be honest with the kiddos, they understand more than you know, I was a broke divorced mom once, love up the kiddos, bake with them play with them make decorations for the tree (felt tree for wall ) out of paper mache and paint….or cut felt to look like hollies or little animals….or cookies and out line with glitter glue from the dollar store…..it’ll get better sweetheart, you’ll look back on this time and it will keep you humble, been there….not rich but very grateful. Your love is more important than anything in this world.
The hauls don't hit the same without George sniffing around 😅❤️

As a retail worker, its unfair to expect us to be in store working at 6am. I'm lucky my job doesn't require me to (but then again i specifically asked for time off way in advance). But as always, i enjoy Amber's videos. its interesting to see what all you picked up from the outside. :)
