Duckweed removal! Vid#3

Day 4 of working on the duckweed removal from my pond. I didn't make a video for Day 3. So, this is Video 3, but Day 4 of the process. Here I explain and show a new setup that works much better than the original setup.

I know this is a few years ago, but you can also try carp. They have carp that won't reproduce

duckweed doubles in size every 24 hrs. you are probably only putting a dent in it.

Have you considered a "trash" pump, i.e. one that handles solids up to a specified size without damage to the impellers?

Yes, I did try that type of pump at first, but comparing it's performance to using this big gas powered pump is like a water drip to a garden hose turned on wide open.

It all worked great. The end result was a beautiful clean pond! Sorry that I didn't get any pics or vids of the end result. But, the process does work!

No sir. There are 7 total. There was going to be about 9-10 videos in the mini series, but I never edited and posted the last couple of videos before I lost the video files.
