Yeah, that was really satisfying. You'd think the guy could wait literally 10 seconds to find out what the secret is since there are several that prevented lethal there, seemed like a really stupid time to set yourself up for embarrassment.

That desperate measure into redemption really saved u the game. Talk about rng
Auto defense matrix would have also done it, and actually would have prevented the bear from dying
Noble Sacrifice would have also worked. There are only 7 paladin secrets in standard and three of them blocked lethal there, it was actually reasonably likely that he would survive. Makes the opponent's emote even more obnoxious, they weren't just arrogant but were also too stupid to realize there was nearly a 50% chance the game wasn't over yet.
Cyan Light Noble sacrifice wouldn’t have worked because it would have triggered the turn before when the small minions attacked face

By throwing Vargoth in Oondasta gets overkill when it attacks which allows Shirvallah to get summoned for free.

Hmm you do know that "generic" deck is the deck Kibler played quite a bit of (and I think created it too, but don't quote me on that) and seems like a pretty fun and cool deck
