Very fun to follow along someone else's experience for tekko, I agree with you about the physical map or schedule being preferred, they even had print rooms so maybe if it was something where you would have to go and pick up a physical copy if you so choose that would have been preferred for me. I also agree that Taobao for me with the fees, time spent , and all that ends up not being as worth it I can share that for the tea party, there were no food accommodations. I bought my tea party ticket the day the tea party was announced and listed that I'm vegetarian and lactose intolerant and was with friends who were also lactose intolerant. I was so concerned leading up that i ended up reaching out to staff beforehand to see if it was possible to get more information on dietary stuff and they said not to worry about it. The Westin was supposed to have options but decided not to for whatever reason, they westin staff kept thinking we were gluten free so we kept having to say no its dairy. Two hours or so into the event, after everyone was done and people were starting to disperse, we got a gluten free dairy free muffin that I'm told was very dry and two slices of a brownie. Also hi! We met at the tea party towards the end, I was in an old black meta piece with a white swan in my wig if that is helpful in any way, your coord was so cool to see!! I love that print and I like what you did with it Also that print with the Goose talk shit get bit I love it (lol sorry for the long comment!)
Hi! I remember you! The 2000 meta, right? It was so good. Ah, that's a shame about the accommodations. And it's not even like lactose intolerance is super rare. Hell, humans naturally develop it if they don't consume dairy daily. Maybe next year the tea should just be at condido tacos or something 🤣
The Rosalie jumper skirt is gorgeous in that colorway!! and I am (5’9 - 5’10) tall and I’m always looking at larger sizes to compensate for length - I am glad to know it’s that long. I adore the color. If you ever decide you don’t want it PLEASE give me a chance to get it! It does look fabulous on you even without a blouse - it’s lovely for summertime but also so versatile for other seasons. I understand if you never want to part with it. Lovely! Thank you for this report, I enjoyed it so much. Honestly the struggle to find a regular afternoon tea place that can accommodate a vegan spread that is on par with the meat spread is REAL so I was surprised that it is even hard with special catering. I would have imagined that with a catering business they could make a bigger effort. The substitute is... not the same, to put it mildly.
