Thank goodness you turned on captions. Your reaction is exactly why we ask people who can't understand the korean language to turn on subs. Sure the beat may be nice, but you gotta really know what they saying. Why go 50% when you can enjoy it 100%. JUSTHIS is the best "rapper" out of Korea and then I'd say BeWhy. He's viewed as a God rapper in Korea by all rappers and fans in Korea. Started from underground and now he here, but still keeps it real.

@@ip4719 No one really cares what they think. Korean hip hop fans and "ordinary" Korean rappers' opinions on that matter are mostly based on prejudice and narrow mindedness. How is RM any different than the "ordinary" rappers? He was in the underground hip hop scene since he was 13 years old, he has good flow, he has a phenomenal tone, he has wordplay, he writes his own lyrics, he has 2 solo mixtapes, a solo album, and countless collaborations as a solo. Do y'all think he's not credible enough just bc he wasn't on Show Me the Money (which is such a rigged show and the winner is mainly based on popularity btw)?
If anything, out of the Khiphop rappers I did listen to, RM's lyrics are more meaningful. His songs Yun featuring Erykah Badu, Wildflower ft Youjeen, Still Life ft Anderson paak, Seoul, Lonely, etc are extremely lyrical and beautiful. There's this trend nowadays to think that rap is only about dissing and battling but when looking at the origin of rap, the main purpose of it was to give a voice to Black Americans, to speak about injustices, and to talk about personal experiences and emotions. Keeping than in mind, I think RM is actually a better rapper than the Khiphop rappers I checked out. Y'all can keep your prejudice to yourselves tbh.
