so I have changed my mind. I am actually gonna use checkpoints for the rest of the levels onwards. I realised that the most tedious and boring part of these runs IS getting the p rank itself, and with the alt checkpoint style, I can just skip that to get to the real challenge, Lap 3+. so basically, i'm just gonna keep using these checkpoints from now on. (also i really like the new taxi transition screens for lap 4+)
