Dude I had almost the same.
I live with my dad and I saw some RUclips videos about Minecraft and I asked for it for Christmas. My mom and dad got it’s for me and my dad wanted to try the game out a little with me. After about one day, both me and him were in love with the game. We played every night for about a year and it was the best part of every single day. But now he is busy when I ask to play he is never able too. I have uninstalled Minecraft and I still remember those days… this song it’s hard

Every day I tried checking if she have new scars. After several months she stopped. I was pleased... But there always must br a catch. No matter what. If it's a game, a silly deal, a joke, a secret... On march 1st 2024, she wanted to hang herself. The only thing that stopped her, was that she didn't knew how to attach the rope to the celling. I worry for her till this day, but less, because she knows that this will affext my mental health. I worry less, but there will be never a 100%....

Remember back then? Sun shining through the leaves, the crisp grass under your pixelated feet. You just spawned in this new world, a million possibilities buzzing in your head. All you had was a dream, a wooden pickaxe, and a whole lotta cobblestone.
You built your first base. Not fancy, mind you. Just a boxy ol' shelter, thrown together with whatever you could mine. Towers that leaned a little to the left, windows crooked as a witch's grin. But it was yours. A beacon in the wilderness, a testament to your grit.
Days turned into weeks, weeks into months. You chased creepers under the starry night, coaxed wheat from the soil, and mined for enough diamonds to make a king jealous. But somethin' happened, didn't it? The world just didn't feel the same. Maybe it was the fancy new games, or maybe...well, maybe you just grew up a bit.
So here you are, staring at an old screenshot, a half-built castle in the background. You could try, you could recreate it block for block, but somethin' tells you it wouldn't feel the same. It's not the world that changed, it's the way you saw it. But that's alright. After all, that's the beauty of Minecraft, isn't it? It lets you build more than just structures, it lets you build memories.

I remember when i was 6. I had my first minecraft world. I was horrifies of zombies. I made a house, and i found a horse. It was white and I names it … I forgot the name. Damn. It was something like beauty. I made a beautiful house and made it super secure. Dreaming that one day i could play with someone. I made a nether portal and i went to the nether. I dont remember what I did there, but when I got out, i spwned near a village. I couldnt find my house! I was so sad. I found a blacksmiths and I made a “school” there. It had beds all over and item frames with hearts of the sea and i think nautilus shells. I turned another house into my base. I wanted my dad to play with me. I was on a ipad and I thought we could do like a split screen on it. I asked my dad what color he wanted his bed. Res. I had a red dye. Every day i went in and out of the nether hoping thst I would spawn back an my home. I did! I was so happy! I made a plane over my house. It was so big and i loved it. One sad day, my family was going out to a restaurant. I was in the game in the nether portal loading screen. My mom told me to turn it off so I did. When I got back, and I joined the world, it got stuck on the nether portal screen.
I stayed on it for hours and it never worked.
Some time after like 5 months, I tried again. IT WORKED! I was super happy. Eventually, we got an xbox one and I got minecraft there and forgot my world on the ipad. Over the time, apple uninstalled minecraft for not using the app in a long time. When I reinstalled it, my data was gone. I was so sad. That was the end of my first minecraft world.

Damn... this song reminds me of the days when my grandmother would pick me up from school. Exactly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I was in first grade but those moments were so precious to me that I have not forgotten them. I remember the TV turned on to the horoscope or the news, the food on the plate that was always to my liking, decorated with the faces that my grandmother drew with oil. I remember all the books on Greek mythology that she made me read after lunch, and all the times she took me to dance after playing with me. She died exactly in April when I was still in first grade... The best years of my life... I miss her 💔

Oh. I feel so bad for my dog. My first build was a small house made of acacia wood with a garden on a flat world. I had my chicken in there, my cat and my dog. I made a trashcan (with lava) and when I wasn't looking, the house started to burn down. The animals were saved but my house and garden wasn't. Multiple weeks of work... just gone because of one block of lava.

My little brother had a world where he lived in a 2x1 house because we didn't know how to make beds nor that in peaceful hostile mobs don't spawn. So he left his little house everyday to get his sweet berries and kelp from the ocean to eat something. But when it started to get dark he went back to his house. If he didn't make it he paused the game, came to me while crying that he don't want to lose his world. I went to the laptop and buried the player underground. When it was day again, I marked the place where he was, so if he doesn't make it home bury himself in the ground. A few days later our friend came over. He knew much more about Minecraft than we did. We told him that my brother doesn't have a bed and could he make him one or do it with cheats. He told us that we should play the game normally but then he gave my brother a bed in his inventory. We were so happy. We knew that nothing could stop us now. I wrote down his small house's coordinates and he went exploring. He found a small village where he got a villager's house for himself. There was a big canyon not so far from his house. Before he went to his friends' house I told him that I would make him a small gift. So I made him a room in that canyon filled with diamond, emerald and gold ores. He was so happy about it when he came home. Then we started to know more stuff about Minecraft and he moved to the side of a cliff. He already had a horse, many dogs and many cats. He built his portal but when he wanted to get back from the Nether to the Overworld, his portal went to the village. He always had to walk back to his house that wasn't too far away.
After these two events I had to reinstall Windows on that laptop because it was freezing all the time. I made backups of everything, including these Minecraft worlds. When I reinstalled Windows I forgot about that USB stick with the backups. But when I found it, it was corrupted. Nothing could read the data on it. So, I lost every Minecraft world on it. I never forget those memories with my brother. We still play games together but Minecraft was the best. Thank you Notch for making our childhood better. Bye.
From what I remember, my first ever build in Minecraft was a box made out of glass that I called a Glass House, it was on a Superflat world called "my field" on Minecraft Pocket Edition back in I think mid 2014

I burst into tears, I went home and finished the base, and sent a picture of it to him, hoping that would grab his attention, but nothing... I asked his mom where they went, nothing...I made the assumption that they moved, but still couldn't believe he left without even saying goodbye...I miss him...I set up a photo of him and I irl, and put the photo of the base next to it. Though life is tough, and we may come across challenges or pain, keep swinging your pickaxe till it breaks...

Those were good times that are not coming back, i finally understand what they say by "Enjoy life while you can", i hope those times come back, but they only do in my mind on my sleep. Those worlds i didn’t finish with my friend, the promises, the memories. The excitement of finding your first diamond, every time i said “gn, cya tomorrow bro” i never expected to have a final one. And i definitely never expected it this soon.
Extra story: My friend and I started a world and played through it on a mushroom island, we gathered lots of diamonds, with me getting so lucky he almost thought i was cheating lol, we continued playing everyday for hours and hours, eventually killing the ender dragon and getting ourselves elytras. We had a dog named Bonko, and a cat called Banka, we eventually started making jokes about being communist, and build a soviet flag just for giggles. Then, i was playing with him, and he said he had to go to bed. I said “okay man, see you tomorrow, we should start building a city yk” and from then on, that minecraft world has been lost.

I'm lucky enough that I've never had a world like that, but I have had servers like that, where I'd tell my friends I'd see them tomorrow, and when tomorrow comes, the server is closed, never to reopen. All the unfinished work, all the plans that never got off the ground, all the ambition and hope for the future, now stuck in the past, deleted along with the server files.
That has happened to me more times that I can remember. I just want it to stop.

Hug?” The creeper made Steve have tears of joy, happiness, and as they watched the sunset, a simple, yet sad and nostalgic song played, echoing from the sky. Mice on Venus. A classic. Jimmy, the baby zombie joined, not to attack, but to bring some of the music in his heart. The skeletons came also to watch the sunset, and listen to the settle music. Steve launched fireworks into the sky, yelling “Thank you, god, thank you for this world.” The phantoms came down to sleep with Steve and his newfound friends, so did the allays. The villagers and the iron golem could not believe their eyes, friendly monsters? The Iron golem came and dropped down some rose bush to them, the mobs admired the beautiful bushes, smooth, no thorns or spikes, smooth, like a road of friendships. Tears of joy started to shed from Steve and his friends eyes as they now knew, that the new days may not be as fun, but the old ones will always be in their hearts, minds, and souls.
