It annoys me how we’re always expected to be the ones to take preventive measures to avoid getting pregnant (i.e., tubal ligation or birth control) or literally destroy our bodies and innocent lives by way of abortions. In some cases we’re literally blamed for getting pregnant as if our partners had absolutely no role in the matter .

The last few women I told about my vesectomy they looked at me like something was wrong and thought it was selfish for a man to get a vesectomy. So for now on I don't tell any woman and let them believe it's something wrong with them lol
It’s amazing how they aren’t shamed for acting in their best interest but when a man makes a responsible decision for what’s best for him we are called selfish lol smh. Hahaha that’s a good tactic 🤣. What would be even better is if they say they are pregnant knowing good and well you’re #VasectomyGang 🤣😂
Mannnn I know this comment was posted 2 years ago but I’ve had the same experience. I’m a father. I have a daughter and a son. I never wanted a lot of kids and the blessing is that I have a pair so I’m good. I got a vasectomy and my girl was very supportive of it and happy. But I remember talking about my situation with other women and I was called selfish too for getting a vasectomy 🤣🤣🤣🤣 LIKE WHAT?!! I’m selfish being okay with the amount of kids I have ?? For wanting to give my kids the best life possible financially??? For not putting too much responsibility on my girl because I work nights so she takes care of home???? WHAT!!!! I was so confused on how this woman got selfishness out of my decision 🤣🤣🤣
I had my appointment for a Vasectomy cause my friend had told me that it was the best thing he ever did ! Then I wrote to him to tell him I was going for a vasectomy also, he then told me that he regretted so much getting a Vascetomy... He is in constant pain since, and that if he could he would have stopped himself from going for the Vasectomy... He is now in the procedures for a reversal... I chickened out of my Vasectomy because of this....
I got mine done the other day . My mom and my Gf supported me . Between my GF and I we have 4 girls. And on the other side of it . I’ve been that guy that’s also gone to the plan parenthood appnts too . Well said bruhh on all points ✅✅💯
I’m thinking about getting one soon. I got one kid and I don’t want any more slip ups. How old was your daughter when you or your bm filed for child support. Ik the longer you wait is when arrears really kick in

25 just had mines last week don’t regret it. Wanna just live life and have fun already had my 2 kids early they’ll be 18 when I turn 36 🤟🏾

Wife and I agree to two kids. As soon as the second child was born, I was off to Kaiser. $15 co-pay.
There you go! Once y’all know it’s wrap for having kids, just go ahead and take care of yourself and have peace of mind.
Needs to become normalized and not looked upon negatively, especially considering the pros out way the cons.
This is definitely a conversation that needs to be had more often and I hope more men really consider this as a viable option.
