It's mostly a potato day, but I do a few fun non-potatoey things too 😋 From doing a fun matcha photoshoot and trying chickpea tofu to sharing another TMJD update, this is a longer vlog (per your request!) You also see lotsss of home updates from newly installed light fixtures, home office storage & my cute lil office couch! I did massage therapy for TMJ for 3 years and it helped so much! It was a little painful in the beginning but then ended with a full body massage which was heavenly. That was about 6 years ago and haven’t had issues since.
I jussst did a tmj massage - painful but worth it!

Totally! We all have our own battles and challenges we are dealing with! And remember, RUclips is a creative outlet for many (including me!) - I try to share the ups and downs through my chatty vlogs with y’all - but no one really sees anyone’s tough days recorded IRL bc who wants to pick up a camera and record/do work when they are feeling crappy? Lol same goes for ppl who aren’t putting content on the internet- don’t we all want to crawl up into a ball and not talk to anyone in those moments? And we all have them! ❤

Evidently I clench my teeth pretty bad at night which has caused by TMJ that I’ve been dealing with for MONTHS. My dentist gave me a mouth guard to wear that has helped. I also took a muscle relaxer at night for a few nights, but the mouth guard has really helped.
I have the exact same problems and my jaw was constantly hurting from clenching. I recently got Botox to help relax the muscles and it’s been great.
have you considered the oura ring for tracking your steps more accurately? been loving mine!

It’s from crate and barrel but I share towards the end that it’s not a very functional cabinet!

Chiropractic has been helpful for my TMJ! Just make sure you see someone who is experienced with it. They all have their own unique adjustments, so you have to find the right person for you.
I’ve been scared of the chiro but I did get a reco from someone I trust so we shall see!

Your symptoms sound really similar to mine! Have you been tested for chronic urticaria? It's an autoimmune thing where your body acts like its allergic when it isn't! Xolair has changed my life.
I haven’t but very interesting! Will research

Isn't immunotherapy= allergy shots? I have the same thing with allergies to everything and I have shots monthly. It's a low dose of the allergens that get injected. Is that what you're doing?
It’s different! LDA strengthens the immune system to better respond to allergies/ inflammation vs allergy shots are more targeted at desensitizing to specific allergens
