    Excuse the constant animal noises in this one, we have crickets, cows and chickens - they follow me around Georgia!

    Very useful technique ! Thanks for the tutorial. By the way, what is the use of the plugins on photoshop ? It look interesting

      Just ones that I have collected over the years. Nik software. Some colour & texture as well as luminosity plugins (that I rarely use) by Jimmy Macintyre. I shall go over them at some point in the future. 😊

      I use the full resolution of this camera always. What is the issue you are having?

      @@JamesKerwin with 50mp my PS has memory problems so I use a slightly lower resolution and also get a nice result

    What meter setting??

      @JamesKerwin  3 года назад +1

      When you say meter? What are you refering to?

      @@JamesKerwin While in Aperture priority camera selects shutter speed. When you focus on the top part of the image, take the shot, then focus on the bottom of the image you have 2 shots with different shutter speeds it you have center weighted metering selected. But if you are you using full frame light evaluation then both shots will have the same shutter speed and be the same brightness regarless of you focal points. Just wondering what mode you're using,

      Argh I was in manual mode! Great point. Thank you. I will update the notes!!

      @GarlandGay7 3 года назад

      @@JamesKerwin Manual modes in cameras often default to a version of metering that is in between center weighted / spot metering and full frame metering which averages light in the entire frame and then decides your shutter speed. Do your settings let you specify?

    Would you recommend a remote shutter when doing HDR and focus stacking?

    • @JamesKerwin
      @JamesKerwin  3 года назад

      Yes you could use a remote shutter or a 2 second/10 second timer as shown.
