IU has plenty of talent, but no quarterback (point guard) to run the offense properly, and they lack leadership. For the amount of talent they do have, they’re a mess!
As long as Woodsen is the coach you shouldn’t have much in the way of expectations. They are struggling to beat mid tier teams. They aren’t doing anything this year from this point. If Woodsen isn’t fired at the end of the year IU doesn’t care about basketball anymore
Ha! ... I've been sleeping in candy stripes since the early 70s, and I cancelled my livestream subscription immediately after that Louisville game in which they were down 78-40 with 7m left and 89-54 with only 51s left!
Coaching is the problem. With NIL being what it is now theres no reason why they couldn't bring in a talented coach and be competitive right away. The truth is up until they saw a few games the A team running this channel acted high on Indiana. Indiana fans already knew what this season would be the moment they made the decision to keep woodson last season.
Indiana is NOT a blue blood. This is exactly what I expected from Indiana. Look at the previous 3 seasons under Woody. This is the exact same start. @michaelhatfull3305 never said anything about Purdue. A blue blood is a constant winner in the NCAA tournament. Indiana doesn’t even make half of the last 22 tournaments and haven’t made a final four in the last 22 seasons. UCLA, Duke, UNC, Kansas, UConn, and Kentucky have all been shown to be the class of the NCAA tournament. Indiana does not deserve to be in that category.
