The main problem with this program will always be Woodson. He loves drama and the show is all about him!! He snatches defeat from the jaws of victory over and over.
So the podcast that was made popular via being spoon fed information from inside the program suddenly lost access for being critical? Well what did they expect to happen? They decided to criticize and "bite" the proverbial hand that was spoon feeding them??? If they cared about the fans and the program as much as they claimed they wouldn't of revealed what happened during that private meeting. Doing so casts a negative cloud around the program before the season even starts. The NIL money the events raised won't really make or break Indiana basketball. It's unfortunate that these events are gone for the time being don't get me wrong. It's likely they will be restructured and put on by the program itself (or the official collectives) in the future. Woodson did this to himself. He is not above criticism. He is not more important than the program itself or the fan base that supports it. Alienating a portion of that fan base for voicing valid criticisms and concerns is not a good look no matter the context surrounding it. Reporting like this is why I will continue to show my support to unsullied media sources like ISB with Jim Coyle. I would rather be a "realistic fan" over a "true fan" anyday of the week. Go Hoosiers!
I think both sides are clearly in the wrong on different things. Number 1. Hoosier Hysterics if they truly put IU basketball above everything, they would have never told about the private meeting. 2. I overall like listening to some of their stuff, but you can just tell that both of them think they were hot shit and just above everything. Like for example Jim said about them unfollowing him on twitter since he landed the Hulls interview first, kinda says alot. And then on the Woody side of things, if HH is telling the truth which I think they are overall about the meeting, Woody lives in some total bull shit fantasy. He thinks he's already Bob Knight and he's untouchable. Which is insane because he hasnt won shit. And its also pretty shocking that a guy who came from the NBA for so long and coached in New York of all places would be so thin skinned. Its crazy
This is as dead-on balls-accurate accurate. A fan who can take the blinders off! EP also simply refused to assist in NIL efforts relating to Hoosiers For Good because they wanted the attention that was being received. People just do not know WHAT they do not know.
The most concerning thing is Woodson saying he'll coach as long as he wants AND the AD not saying anything. It really tells how big a train wreck the program is. I look for Woodson to screw up the 24-25 season like he has all the others. I am not a "true fan" and enjoy the title he gave me.
No matter how many millions you throw at the problem……. The biggest problem is the coach!! The powers at be should have never fired Sampson over BS!! I think the current administration has the football program going in the right direction……… basketball needs a major overhaul!!
@@IndianaSportsBeatRadio or you rambled on and never said a thing. Or perhaps there was additional information that was not in this particular segment.
This was a private meeting between 2 parties that should have NEVER been made public. Especially a UofL and UK writer should NOT be spewing the highlights of a podcast and a one sided view of a private meeting. All they had to do was say it was cancelled, take the high road, and move on. Shame on Bozich and you too Jim for chasing clicks and likes for a story that could be only half true. This only hurts the program and fans. I call bullshit!!

HH took it public because Woody's actions will affect the public - players and fans. He's an ass and needs his already-known antics made even more known.
Indiana deserves a really good college basketball coach…….. Mike Woodson wasn’t a good NBA coach and he sure as hell hasn’t done Jack as the coach at Indiana!!
When are you guys going to stop painting Woody in as bad light as possible. We had a bad year, but Woody is learning as he goes along. Most IU fans claim then don't care about the NBA. But Highschool and transfer guys do care a ton. Jackson Davis and Ware success is extremely important to IU long-term recruiting. I think the team Woody has assembled this coming season will be very successful. They are a ton deeper than the PU team that fell 1 game short, Go IU
Have you listened to what he said to these guys it’s sinister! I don’t agree with how woody goes about his business. He doesn’t care about you the fan why do you care so much about him? He’s ruining any chance iu has to be good with HIS OWN ACTIONS!

I never even knew who Hoosier Hysterics was before this... i tried to listen to them... they are hard to listen tooo.... really really hard

Thank you Herbal for being an OBJECTIVE sports fan and ardent supporter of ISBR and that type of content.

Yes, that was the most concerning thing! No one is talking about that, and they didn't talk about it in this interview.
I'm not saying it wasn't said, but if not corroborated it's just "hearsay."
Add clown to that name to.
I don’t care what mike woodson does as long as he does it outside of Bloomington, Indiana. FIRE THAT PUNK

If you want Fantasy Camps, try Key West?
I listened to this for 9 minutes and have no idea what it is about. Bozich is usually better than this
Bottom line Woodson got butt hurt being called stubborn………..
I was thinking the same exact thing, wtf are these guys blabbering about. 9 minutes of my life wasted.
Then you all must have missed major points of the discussion or have selective hearing?

Great response woody is a man unhinged and needs to be fired right now if you ask me. This next season with him is going to be disastrous

This cracks me up. We are painting Woody in as bad (a) light as possible?" That is just not accurate.
Woodson needs to go.
