hi im really struggling with this, after 3 attempts i get to point when some of my strands are far too short to use. Would it be possible to show the full length of all the strands at the start of a move as Im finding your hands are covering the strands so its not possible to see what is happening to the lengths . Such a shame as the ornament on your page looks lovely. I'm sure its something simple I'm missing
Hi Denise, I know your dilemma. I would add 10mm so use 60mm cord instead of 50mm but don’t fold it exactly in half. Have 45mm in the middle so when you put one cord on it will be lopsided with the longer part on the outside. Do it to both sides. You need longer cords on the outside to compensate for the square knots. I went through that before. Hope that helps.
The measurements are all off. My starting pieces were 70cm and they were still too short at the end. Also the last finishing bit isn't clear as all I can see is hands.

I think this should be 50 inches not cm. 50 cm is way too short
I ran into that same problem and had to start all over. Might be because my cord is 4mm thick.
