So glad you went and included videos so we could see too - the last few minutes where the light was changing on those rocks was exquisite. Thanks!

I never analyzed what pictures I want to shoot, it just comes out naturally for me and 95% of turns out great. Everywhere I turn, I can find it's beauty. In July, as I walked towards the Wrigley botanical garden at Catalina island, a big white wild flower just stuck out from the driest bushes, like its waving to anyone who pay attention to the side of the road🌼

I just wanted to say, it was interesting to hear a little about your past. Didn't mind at all. Love your videos and photos. Love that part of the U.S. as well as where you live.

Hahaha, that was funny when you realized you said video-tape. Your humor is a welcomed addition to your videos.

That was truly a fantastic video and I liked the fact that your photographs were simplistic and interesting. Thank you for all your hard work in producing these wonderful and inspiring videos. Great job!

Thanks for making the video, Steve! I actually like your rambling style of talking :-) It's actually very engaging.

Great images Steve. I wondered how you would compose them. Sunset shots were my faves 👍

A little desert sun must have been a nice change for you. That looks like such a cool place. I like the blue hour silhouette at the end of the video. I was waiting for an amazing still of that but ...
Next time maybe. Thanks for sharing!

Welcome to my part of the world Steve. There are soooooo many "artsy fartsy" shots to be had at J Tree ( particularly in black and white). Hope you had a chance to shoot the night sky !! Surprised that you didn't attract any owls... Maybe next time.

Yes it was great fun! I didn’t have time this trip to stay and shoot the stars but next time I will, that sounds really fun.

Nice work...really like what you did with the tree shadow on the granite...IR is so cool looking in the desert SW. Come to think of it, the silhouetted joshua trees and rocks behind you at your vehicle looked like an interesting subject.

It is always a pleasure to watch you video! Thank you. I saw that you work with Fujifilm, what do you think about the 100-400mm?

It's pretty good. It's the only telephoto option so you have to take it or leave it. I find that it is noticably sharper at f/8 (at least at the long end) so I generally stop it down
