- We made it to the Outer Banks NC! Van life is pretty hard in the outer banks in terms of trying to find a place to park the van overnight (for free). We had to stay at a Harvest Host off the island twice.
Here we first head north to check out Corolla Beach and then make our way south spending time on the beach in Nags Head, NC.

Ha we also used to live in California. It was San Fran. We only spent a few years but found our way to Charleston and we love calling this home. We did an outer banks trip.. we love to explore east coast beach towns as well. Great video!

I wish you guys would have gone to fish heads pier in nags head. There is a bar and tiki restaurant on the water with awesome happy hour and music
That bench that you are eat the duck donuts on is the same bench I took a picture with my brother and sister when we went on a family vacation before moving to Va beach. I’m wanting to buy a van myself and go to Corolla for a bit
A couple best places to eat in the Hilton head area. Skull creek restaurant. Sugaree in Bluffton has the best Lobster Roll has lobster from Maine shipped in. Think you’ll enjoy it.
Just wait till you get to Hilton head island for some donuts. There are quite a few places for donuts. And Savannah, ga has some good donuts as well. Hey Chris I wish we saw this comment earlier, we’re home for the holidays and passed through Hilton head and Savannah already. We filmed pretty much everyday on our road trip to key west and I got behind fast! Now catching up on videos! Hoping to be caught up after the holidays so it will be more real time on our next adventure!

One last thing if you two do travel up near Atlanta/ Chattanooga area make sure to stop at Rock City. It’s a $25 entry per person but worth the hours of entertainment. The lookout spot you can see 7 different states from one place. Very neat experience. Link is seerockcity.com. Thought I’d give you another place to visit. And St. Augustine is a beautiful place as well. Don’t know if you’re past there already as well. The bus tour is very cool. The one that you can hop on and off though the day. Some good beer distillery in St Augustine. Keep enjoying the travels. You’re definitely blessed to live this life style. Keep it up.

Sooooo close to the best donut in NC. The Orange Blossom Bakery in Buxton (Cape Hatteras Light). and the Apple Ugly. No comparison to other donut shops. Get ready to wait in the morning line.
