I’ve listened to Michael’s music since 2016, I first heard ‘for a second’, and started to listen to each and every other one of his songs. I have a slight addiction to music and his became an obsession, I annoyed everyone around me with it. When “for a second” came out I was actually in a residential to help my mental health. It came out two days before I was admitted. I played that song on repeat any time I could and people genuinely got sick of me for it. Others (maybe 3-4) actually liked his music and didn’t mind a whole lot. For my Spotify 2022 wrapped, I listened to his music more than anyone else this year, and he was in my top 3 artists. I once messaged him on facebook and got a reply, only one, but that one reply made me happier than he could ever have guessed. Michael Schulte had saved me from my insomnia and myself. His music helped me sleep, would help me from getting overstimulated (im autistic and struggle with auditory overstimulation) and would help me stay focused for school. I’m so grateful for him.
