After spending hours with 2 tribemates, a quetz & a Titano in the Ragnarok desert, I've determined that mech taming is definitely the best, most efficient and most importantly: the most enjoyable method. Nice job!
Technically speaking, the armor on that saddle is acquirable and usable on ARK Official, but would revert to 124 w/ a server reset. Either way, I only took 1 hit from the Titanosaur in all of the time spent on the Paraceratherium, and if you watched the remainder of the video, it ended up being a mute point anyways. The episodes in this series are NOT being completely authentically and I've been fully open about that from the start; it's a shame this was your only take away from a video made purely for entertainment/comedy.
Some things went wrong, some things went right, as is all things in ARK. The balance remains.
