You and your wife are great operators. I’ve been binge watching most of today. You are both very professional with your customers. You need to get some stickers that read. I didn’t see the sign, or they didn’t tell me I couldn’t park there. It’s unfortunate but we live in a world where many people don’t want to take responsibility for their actions. Keep doing what you are doing.
I've been watching you two for a couple of years now, and I have to say that Kristen adds so many beautiful views to the videos. I have started calling you my "family in Tennessee"! You are both so kind, and so wonderful that I really hope we get to meet you in person when we are down in Gatlinburg Mar 18th-22nd, 2024 (from Toronto, Canada)! The ONLY reason we are going is because we are going to be in Charlotte, NC to see the final Eagles concert of their tour (March 16, 24) so we are making a special 3 day getaway before we head home, just in the hopes of seeing you in the wild! It was my husbands idea, and I just got him hooked on your channel a month ago! Hope to see you, or even better MEET you!
I have to add…I absolutely love the sights you capture! The twisting winding treacherousness of those SHOULDERS, the beauty of the skyline! That Ski Mt. road scares me silly! Not even going to mention the bears….😳
Great video Jeff and Kristen and loved the bears. I guess trees don't pick ughly trucks to fall on huh. I feel for that guy, beautiful truck. Thanks for another trip to tag a long on. Love and blessings
Ouch 😣 that hurts. A beautiful truck though for a GMC. I am a Ford person myself 😉. You and your wife drive up some crazy roads and lanes to rescue people. God bless. 😊
That was crazy y’all. I know it’s dangerous on them narrow roads. I was a log hauler for 25 years, some roads were so flipping narrow. By the beautiful views thanks for the videos.
She was right on point when she said you have nerves of steel. Good thing because she gets nervous enough for 2 people. I know you don't want to take down overhead wires, but if your vehicle is under 13 ft 6, and you take down wires, its on them, not you.
Awesome video again. Ya'll live in a beautiful place. Be careful and keep the videos coming. I hate to see stupid people feed bears and put them in danger but you as Ron White said "You can't fix stupid "
I live in Indiana and after watching some of your videos I can say "NOPE" to your winter. I've driven my whole life on snow & ice in the winter, but wouldn't even get in a car in your area when there is even a dusting of snow.
I'd say that tree definitely left a major mark. Bummer to come on vacation and your vehicle gets totaled out. I've had it happen. My previous car was totaled out a few months ago when someone ran the 4-way of New Era and River Divide.
We stay at Sidney James, a few years ago I ask if they were certain times that we could use the grills they have there, they said no but we can’t guarantee the bears won’t come and join ya. They told me that once before people were grilling out and the bears just came over and grabbed the steaks off the grill and took off with them, I have learnt from the desk clerks U do not feed the bears. We were out at 10:30 at nite grilling out, but we made to grill our food and take it back to our room. I’ve already bought me a grill to take this summer to cook outside my room, but I will be watching for bears the whole time 🙂 I’d love to be able to pet and be friends with a bear but I’m not that brave One year on Gatlinburg bypass, a momma bear and her 4 Cubs were crossing the road, momma looked at me like excuse us we are going across first, cutest lil Cubs ever I of course rolled my window down and told momma she didn’t have to worry, we would not bother her babies I love bears 🐻
I feel ya creeping along trying to be safe. I also can see a tow taking dang near all day when it's a tow in Gatlinburg in late afternoon during peak tourist season.. I love these Mountains we live in.. I live at the top over looking Asheville next to the Blue Ridge Parkway and every weekend we good out of tow drag racing somewhere and I'm never more thankful to have upgraded brakes, thanks cooler and and stuff other wise 53' enclosed would wear a truck out and be dangerous. Now that tow is kinda hilarious in the matter that the GMC looks identical to my son's 2019 3500 HD duramax crew cab in color, 24" chrome wheels.
‘Are they mean?’ Oh no he didn’t just ask that!!! Lmao..,smdh…people…bless his heart! 😂🐻 Seriously folks: DO NOT FEED THE BEARS!! And surely everyone has heard the phrase, ‘ Mama Bear’? There’s a reason behind that choice of words! Think about this: would you visit Florida & feed the alligators? Hang near THEM? 🐻🐊🐻🐊
There is NO way, Jeff & Kristen, I could drive in that traffic every day like you two. I'd go nuts. Did the tree just fall all of a sudden or was it the result of a lot of rain which compromised the ground it was growing on? Also, that mother bear acted like she had been fed by folks before. She'd look up at the humans then look down on the ground as if something had been tossed quite a few times. Peoples' brains are sometimes up their posterior.
Looks like your going to have to start carrying bear spray or a high caliber gun to scare them away. Gun shot would scare them, but you should only do it as a last resort as they can start to get used to it, high caliber (10mm +) if it doesnt work.
Bro. If you see someone feeding bears, politely ask them not too. Explain how dangerous that can be for Guests coming in behind them. I won't fault you this time. It was probably shocking for you to see, knowing what you know about their behaviors. We all love the bears, and love to see them. Seeing them must be done responsibly by those who may not know better. It's a Citation and fine in Gatlinburg to feed bears. Love your videos. Keep em coming my friend!
The Cabin company was notified, and I do try to nicely ask folks but this was their rental cabin and I felt I would be overstepping and that it would be easier to just call. Also this was a unique situation and we were trying to load the truck safely and keep the bear away from us while doing so. When we see vacationers pulled off feeding or interacting with bears we usually just try and blow our horn to scare the bears away as this is an effective way to scare them off and not have to scold the tourist. Unfortunately this is probably not the first time this family of bears has been fed here and I doubt it will be the last.
Love the content, but do you think you can run some eq or filtering ai over the voice parts. I noticed quite a bit of the time there is a higher pitch/bass background noise over some of your speaking parts. As someone who uses headphones it does start hurting after a bit. There are tons of options on how to do it, it would just be extra work on your end however.
I can't believe that you use the winch to tighten the chains and just have loose chains on the front. I use ratcheting straps on each wheel and lock it down tight.
I think you could have made it all the way up that driveway with no problem! Just think about all of the concrete trucks that did it without the pavement while they were building that house.
towed a bus to house made it under the power line when i left the the unloaded truck sat higher and cought the power line and ripped it down and pulled the meter off the house
if a tree falls on a truck while a bear is defecating in the woods in Gatlinburg and Jeff and Kristen are not there to document it for youtube......did it really happen?
Do y'all not carry at least bear spray? That's scary. My friends were up there last week and they had a bear encounter. Crawled all over their car. Scared them big time. Us Texas folk don't do bears.
Doesn't seem like it would be much of a vacation to have to keep the kids inside because of the danger of bears the whole time. I sure wouldn't be comfortable letting my little ones out there to play. You'd think they would be smarter than to feed those bears. Very dangerous.
With Tennessee open and carry laws, why do you not carry a firearm. I would be loaded (45 auto) ready for a bear and crazies. I would be wearing a sidearm all the time! Keep it in truck where carring is prohibited
I came here to say this too! A fed bear, is a dead bear. I love everything autos videos, and I hope someone told them to stop throwing food down to the bear.
Agree. It pisses me off that tourists feed them and I’m pretty annoyed that Everything Auto just kinda laughed it off. Locals have to step up and educate tourists so these bears aren’t euthanized as often.

@@EverythingAutos I understand. I’m glad you notified the cabin company. Just hate to see those cubs learning that bad behavior. Like you said, they will be back
Those are some nice truck tires and that bear was awesome looking and big
Thanks for the great views Kristen beautiful 😊

I think she is gonna start drinking at 9am instead of noon!! Lol
12:14 who ever screamed had phenomenal vocals. Like Kelly Clarkson dang I’m impressed
One great job it takes skill to back up them roads there.

Why did Kristen get out and walk down that hill following the truck?
It’s what you don’t see …… the Mama!
Theyll total that.

Yes we carry bear spray, Gatlinburg is always full of bears. Plus the upside is the spray works great on unruly customers as well lol.
I thought everybody liked Baylor football...
You should have put bears in the headline, more interesting
Where is your bear spray?
Feed the bear their hungry.
Being stalked by a bear

Are you serious you live in the mountains around Gatlinburg and the roads scares you.
.........In the forest, where, I might, Get eaten by a Bear......
