This is such a beautiful song. It doesn't even matter if Samantha or Floor sings it. Both are absolutely great singers and even if Floor and "Beste Zangers" brought me here, I will happily check out more songs from Samantha, which I surely would never had discovered otherwise.

Like the rest here, huge Floor Jansen fan. Being from the States I have never heard of this show or these wonderful Dutch singers. Every one of them knock it out of the park with their beautiful voices, can't wait to here more from all of them. I especially love Samantha and the rich tone in her voice. I am definitely going to search for and listen to more from Samantha.
Rick, this show runs now for 12 years now and every time it's mind blowing how the singers do the songs from the other singers. For me the years 2016, 2017 and 2018 are the best so far. Season 2017 for me the duet from Tania Kross and Tommie Christiaan with Barcelona ruclips.net/video/Y420kVQ45GA/видео.html is perfect combo of a musical star and a opera singer.If you search on "beste zangers" you see the last 8 years and there are many more performers who step out there comfort zone and do a great job. I hope you enjoy if you search for that.

And that is why foreign people hear of this show. Here in the Netherlands many people are always think about the performers for the next season and talk about the pro and cons of the singers because in the last episode they have to do a duet and till now I never been disappointed. If you look for "beste zangers" then you can choose a lot of different artists from the Netherlands.

Toen ik dit nummer hoorde,kreeg ik tranen in mijn ogen.Waar voor, niet alleen om dat het een mooi nummer is,maar toen ik een vriendin had,bleef ik bij haar eten en drinken en slapen,en ben vrij weinig bij mijn ouders langs geweest.En dit nummer drukt mij hart op deze feiten.

the song is about that she no longer knows how to live and she wants to ask for help from dr mother but she has passed away she asks advice. at the table she is sitting at, her mother taught her everything, but due to pain she cannot eat. she wants to know how her mother has remained so strong despite everything that has happened because that is now happening to her alone, she doesn't know what to do.

A Once again Another Floor Fan (Gee, That many lol) here. We all love Floor vocal things, but Samantha is indeed a very good singer.
It did help that Floor added some metal spirit in this song but to be honest ...... both are brilliant.

It is very difficult to catch the original english lyrics into Dutch and keep the story of the song close to the original feeling.
