So if I am understanding correctly, originally on our website we were taught to have a contact form with the messge box, but now we need to omit it? Should we now to eliminate the starting priceon our website as well?

Matthew Sassa Photography We are constantly watching stats, testing and tweaking. As life chances and advances, as technology changes... behavioral patterns will change, including purchasing behaviors.
Marketing & Websites therefore are an ever evolving process. So what worked a few years ago may not always stay the top performing and most effective way. This is why we are always keeping up to date on the most cutting edge business and marketing techniques and always tracking what’s working best and giving the best ROI for Photographers.
Now that being said... the choice is yours as to whether you put a message box on your contact form or not. Some of our photography clients do have one and some don’t. But if you don’t want the first question to be about pricing and want to lead the conversation, the best option is to take it off. Or just learn that with a message box people will ask that pricing question because they just don’t know any better and have responses crafted to address this.
We still use a starting Session Fee as a 1st step qualification on the website at this time for our clients.
I know that was super long winded, but hope that helps answer your questions!
