I like that legendary started with original monsters especially ones as unique as the mutos

One Dixie Cup Just For You gender doesn't apply here. If that was then everything would be automatically unique just from that alone. (There are only 2 genders, just clarifying that so someone doesn't assume I'm one of those gender freaks)
And just because they are able to fight Godzilla and withstand his attacks doesn't make them unique.

All these monsters and robots are made to fight Godzilla but anything they had that is unique is also part of the others or has already been in the movies before in another way. The MUTO's are no different besides being copies of the Cloverfield monster. Being male and female don't apply as being unique because Godzilla has fought males and females before so there you go.
These things were basically in the movie to make it an unofficial Godzilla vs Cloverfield movie, but done terribly wrong.
@@harrywarden7675 they are unique because they are made for the movie and besides the hooked claws their abilities set them vastly apart from the Cloverfield monster, something doesn't have to be 100% different from everything to be unique, by that logic godzilla isn't unique because there had been stories of large reptiles before

This movie was the only thing I've ever directly bought a poster for. The atomic breath and roars sold it for me.
We had too less godzilla i guess u will agree. There was 8 min of godzilla in a film called godzilla from 2h long
Godzilla 2014 is a great movie, idc what anyone says. Skull Island is possibly better imo, it's way more fun and was a really refreshing take on Kong. King of the Monsters is really underrated imo, it has some of the best kaiju action ever

Fun fact: The head designs of the MUTO’S were inspired by the tremor creatures from the Tremor franchise.
No wonder why they look similar
Second fun fact: the creatures in tremors are called graboids, named as such from their method of grabbing their victims.
These guys were really fascinating and unique to see on the big screen , you could even sympathize with them a tiny bit when their nest was destroyed. Great new additions to kick off the monsterverse

The three headed dragon is King Ghidorah. Gojira is Godzilla's Japanese name.
Petorasaur...? King Gojira...?!?! Nyat! I love you, but those pronounciations rended me. It's pronounced "Terro-saur" and "Hydreigon" (kidding, Ghidora)
King Gojira is another name for the OG himself.
The one who is many is another name for King Ghidorah.

I really loved the MUTOs design it just feels so unique as far as godzilla enemies go. They really felt like a worthy addition to the list of great godzilla enemies give their rather original designs and clear ability to be a credible threat to godzilla. Also made for some unforgettable scenes, that scene of the one walking under the bridge below the main character was quite creepy and tension filled, loved it.
Also the EMPs are cool

Personally, I adored this film.
I actually really appreciated the large focus on the human cast, since it made all of Godzilla and the MUTOs' scenes all the more memorable and incredible to watch.
The sequel looks amazing! I can't wait!
That one shot with the male MUTO diving into the ocean was incredible

I finally watched this movie. I don't know much about any of the Godzilla stuff since I've never been interested in any of it before. But I watched this out of curiosity and the mutos are so far my favorite. I find them to be very cute and the male diving into the ocean was stunning

This is probably my favourite movie, i loved it. I also like the way godzilla seems to have a heart and not just blindly ruin everything and calmly walk back into his home (ocean) at the end

I always thought the M.U.T.O's were extraterrestrial. With the way King of monsters filled out the lore of the Godzilla verse i wouldn't be surprised if they came to earth as parasites on King Gidorah or on it's egg and then mutated in earths primordial radiation.

This Godzilla was SOÒOOO much better than the previous 1.
Unlike other Arthropods.
They have spines and can feel love and grief how mammals do.
( just a personal opinion) I don’t think that the mutos are Arthropods. But rather parasitic Placoderms( a prehistoric fish that would have been around at the same time) as fish have multiple fins they have multiple limbs, are armored (but not completely), their backs clearly have a fin, and the males wings appear more membranous than chitinous or whatever. And they have spinal cords and backbones
Apparently they are mammals, but I like the placoderm theory better.

When this movie first came out, I heard a lot of people making fun of that part where the mutos were destroying Las Vegas, and and the gamblers just kept gambling. I'm _from_ Vegas, and let me tell you, if gigantic radioactive hellspawns were ripping up buildings like we pull weeds, it would go down the exact same way. Slots > dying
I once even saw a picture of some guy casually using a slot machine in a flood up to his waist.

I was bummed last year when I heard they would be releasing Godzilla the king of monsters in 2019, now I’m excited because I understand you can’t rush quality.
I dont like how in the trailer for the new godzilla movie the kaiju are refered to as titans...its like yeah you call them titans now not kaiju and I'm just not ready to accept that or probably never will

Well, why the hell would we call them kaijus? That’s a Japanese word. I haven’t seen ‘King of the monsters’, but assuming it takes place in a world in which kaijus aren’t common knowledge, no English speaking person would suddenly go “I know what to call them! Kaijus!”
This was such an awesome movie
id like to mention that one. the mutos looked but most importantly sounded amazing, and the EMP did affect Godzilla, it weakened the atomic breath but didin'ät disable it.
I really enjoyed this movie and it was a good Godzilla addition and I loved that we got see more of what it's like for the people who are on the ground while this stuff is going on

The MUTOs I think were a breath of fresh air being a new creature that was very interesting and fit into the back story of Godzilla being a prehistoric apex predator
