I have a "British" accent and I don't have to fake an "American" accent to ge the voice recognition to work properly. Perhaps may have been necessary when this video was released - but certainly not now.
You do not have to fake a US accent. I speak standard English accent and I get a high level of accuracy after doing the Windows voice training. Also "full stop" works rather than "period" and you don't need to say "space" after a sentence. Another tip. Speech recognition can be used for a lot more than dictation. eg getting around the PC. eg..."switch to Outlook" "new email"...and "Back" and "Forward" commands work in a browser.

Hi Adrijan - It seems internet is either allowed or not! :) I would suggest using wireshark to review the traffic from voice to text to determine the domains. I haven't found a list of listed domains.
What's not working for you? One thing that could be happening is Microsoft in one of the latest feature updates released a privacy settings option that keeps programs (even it's own) from being able to access the Microphone and Cameras. So I would try searching for microphone at the start menu and see if you can change your microphone settings.

I don't get paid For keyboarding My own computer . It's way past time For voice recognition to be Made The mainstay Of computing And the keyboard Secondary . I believe That the tech companies Intentionally Do you not want people to use voice recognition Because It is Keeping people Down . Simply put u do not want People to have the power o voice recognition Because they would Make far more Comments Giving people More power .

AND DOES NOT TRANSMIT YOUR WORDS ACROSS THE INTERNET TO BE TRANSCRIBE BY MICROSOFT OR SOMEONE. RECORDING IT FOR WHAT RECORDS YEA. THAT'S WHAT WE WANT RECORDS . I'm really sorry it's not working as well as you would like. Honestly it's why I don't use voice very often personally because it doesn't work as well as I would like. I speak very fast and I've found that you have to really have a complete thought before you get started or it doesn't work well. One of my clients is a lawyer and he loves dragon naturally speaking. He does great with it because of 2 things. 1. He's trained the heck out of the application 2. He has very well articulated and complete thoughts just stream out of him.
Hi Thomas - I just walked through the tutorial again and as soon as I enabled everything it came right on. You might need to enable it to come on with windows.

Its not working properly for me neither. Im European. So i have a british / french accent and i really want to use voice attack for star citizen.

Cortana might not yet have Urdu. If it does you would likely need to install a localized language pack.
