In fact, I would like to say that in China's May 1st Labor Day and National Day really do not go to the scenic spots, the experience is too bad. We Chinese can't help it. We only have three long holidays a year. So there will be a lot of people, and if we can, we will avoid these festivals and travel
To be honest, I watched this episode of your program with non-stop laughing. admire from my heart, It takes a lot of courage to join the wave of tourists during a long holiday in China, but one good thing about China is that no matter how many crowds there are, they are well managed and there is no need to worry about pickpockets or extortion, this is where I can't found in tourist attractions at most countries.

Greetings from Singapore! I'm amazed by your China series, it seems that there are endless things to explore! I have been waiting everyday for a new video! If you are interested in speaking or learning Mandarin (Putonghua) you may start with using 'hanyupinyin' such as how you just said 'hongyadong'. It's extensively used in countries like mine where we've been Westernised and most of the citizens can't read Chinese characters anymore. It's like the English version of Chinese and they do have it on Google translate. Think of it of something like translating Russian Cyrillic alphabets to Latin Alphabets. Visiting China is definitely on my bucket list and I think it will take at least a year to travel to all the states! Hope you guys are enjoying yourselves! 😍🤩

The view would be much better if you went to Hongyatong at night. It would also be more spectacular if you went to the same square at the beginning of the video at night, as the light show along the river bank would make the view second to none. In general, Chongqing looks better at night than at day time owing to its landscape and foggy weather. I guess you guyes have already left Chongqing, otherwise I would recommend a few places a lot less noisy and more serene.

Wow you guys are so brave to travel in Chongqing during the first few days of May. It’s definitely one of the busiest season there. I’m from Chongqing and brought my Chongqing SIM card to Canada. Every long public holidays I can still receive messages from the authority that says Chongqing local people please refrain from going out and leave the space to the tourist. 😂 however if you do travel during holidays. The local government would normally block the traffic on that beautiful bridge beside hongyadong and make it a pedestrian paradise😊 hope you enjoy your trip🎉
Maybe because I'm feeling homesick and national pride lately, I started watching videos of foreigners visiting China, and so far I like your videos the most because you are so friendly and tolerant, and have great personalities. I hope you have a great time in China! I especially like watching you two enjoying Chinese food!😄 I loved the local dry sausages 😍.

7:39 it’s like a castle is because this place is originally the wall of the city 😂😂朝天门literally means the gate facing the heaven. Back in the time when the city is built in Song Dynasty, the order of the emperor come from the downstream of Yangtze River, the direction this gate is facing.
In fact, Chongqing's population of over 30 million encompasses the entire municipal administrative region, which is comparable in size to a small European country. The administrative region includes urban areas, satellite cities, countryside, and mountainous regions. The popluation of the administrative region of Chengdu (much smaller in area size in comparison to Chongqing) is around 22 million. Actually, the populations of the central urban regions of both Chongqing and Chengdu are around 15 million. These two cities are similar in terms of their urban areas and populations.

18:00 actually the pork bun and beef noodles are not Chongqing cuizine, they are from north west regions of China. You can find the same type of food in Xi'an, Lanzhou. Especially the pork bun is an adjusted version of typical Xi'an food, 肉夹馍. you can find similar ones but often without garlic and green pepper in Xi'an. For te crispy outside, you will find in 老潼关肉夹馍, a specially region near Xi'an and now have shopss across China. BTW, the noodles Naomi added eggs written in the signs.

Hi guys, avoid Chinese New Year holiday in Jan/Feb, Labour Day holiday in May and National Day holiday in Oct if you want to avoid crowds. Having said that, the most festive and culturally vibrant period is also the CNY. It's hard to choose indeed. But not be upsat, China has so many festivals and events all over the year. Next one will be Dragon Boat Festival. You should come to Guangdong to experience it. It definitely won't disappoint you!
I hope that for your next trip to China, you can choose to visit the central major city - Changsha. You are also welcome to visit the surrounding small city of Yueyang. 他是蓝眼晴,应该是英格兰人,只是生活在爱尔兰,
the small spicy pieces in 39:00 are lotus roots or radish maybe hahaha
大头菜
At 37:10, what you have eaten is actually the "fried twisted dough", it is a famous local speciality.
You should also try Rou Jia Mo (Roger Moore) too, it's similar to the pork braised buns you tried, it's famous all over China but the one in Xi'an is the best 😊
For those who are confused ,Cities are defined by various concepts.City proper concept is one of them.Tokyo is generally considered as largest city in the world, but according to city proper concept, Chongqing is the largest city proper in the world
With 30 million people in that Chongching, its a country. The whole Australia population in that city.
I feel so happy when I am watching your videos Cuz your videos show the realities of Chinese cities. To be honest, I couldn’t find many countries that make me feel safe, like you can hang out anywhere anytime and get many kinds of foods. So I just give you my first comment on RUclips and looking forward to seeing your more videos. Cheers mate!🎉
五一期间的重庆,肯定特别特别多的人😂
Hi. Bro, you are really friendly towards China. Today, I also started posting videos about Shanghai cuisine.
If you come to Shanghai, you can contact me and I will treat you to authentic Shanghai cuisine
Welcome to Chongqing! Chongqing is famous for its foggy weather, so don't be surprised. Have fun in Chongqing! I look forward to seeing you explore more cities in China.
Thank you! 😃
밝은 표정👍
맛있는 음식👍
멋진 풍경👍
The food you eat in Chongqing is also sold in Dublin, there are Chinese restaurants on D1 and D2, and when you come back, if you miss food, you can try it
Thank you 🙏
welcome to Chongqing! looks like you guys becoming more and more proficient in using chopsticks haha
Slowly learning! Hahaha
15:30 rou Jia mo, my favorite! Go to Xi An for it, not only terracotta😊
14:37 in Mandarin is called 肉夹馍 ròu jiā mó or to make you easy to remember just say it as "Roger Moore". It's traditional Chinese sandwich.
It's like New York Square on News Year's Eve. Crowds packed waiting for the ball to drop.
Haha, people mountain people sea, and the sea is boiling.
Surprisingly Naomi uses chopsticks very well.
Thanks for the video!
欢迎来玩,不过5.1劳动节人特别多,下次可以避开高人流,佩服5:00大妈的跨服强聊哈哈哈
Maybe because I'm feeling homesick and national pride lately, I started watching videos of foreigners visiting China, and so far I like your videos the most because you are so friendly and tolerant, and have great personalities. I hope you have a great time in China! I especially like watching you two enjoying Chinese food!😄 I loved the local dry sausages 😍.
@liuliu6370: You'd like @BlondieInChina, she gets all around China
Rou Jia Mo is a very tasty and filling snack .... you can try Luckin coffee, jiangxiang Latte (mild alcohol latte)
super detail presentation! love it! I've been there, but not that detail......lol..... I can't stop watching!
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
You should contact Alex of Reporterfy Media. Alex,Canadian living in Chongqing with his wife.
Luke eating "Roger Moore". Btw, love to watch Luke's reaction when he eats.
I truly enjoy your video and admire the positive attitude you two have towards new culture and have always been cheerful under all circumstances. Good luck on your future journeys and blessings🌺
7:39 it’s like a castle is because this place is originally the wall of the city 😂😂朝天门literally means the gate facing the heaven. Back in the time when the city is built in Song Dynasty, the order of the emperor come from the downstream of Yangtze River, the direction this gate is facing.
Loved this video ❤so many people 😮wow. Really interesting to watch ❤
amazing...there is no shortage of food everywhere you go in this city...
Welcome to visit China, have fun, and hope you can come to Taiyuan, Shanxi to experience the local food.
Big Australia population is 30 million. The whole Australia in Chongqing.
at 44:19, it is sweet dried persimmon
Night life in Chongqing episode when? Looking forward to it.
There are several tourist attractions. hongya cave, Liziba station, suspension bridge, 22 floor building.
That savory snack is called’ Ma Hua’
If you know it, it’s like a Mexican sweet snack called churro.
Basically it’s fried dough.
39:33 hello, just in case if you are still wondering what is the strange spicy thing, apparently these are some marinated radish😂 according to the sign written under that giant bowl
45:15 Naomi knows it very well!
Welcome to Chongqing .❤ I miss my families and friends after watching your video. It’s so nice to see that you enjoy the Special things from chongqing .❤
It's always a good day when we can watch you both explore China 😊
Welcome to my hometown CHONGQING, wish you enjoy and have a wonderful time 🎉
The thing you thought was mushroom is one of Sichuan pickles, looks like to be the trunk bits from the mustard greens
hello two mad explorers! Welcome to chongqing! I am a native of chongqing and how long are you planning to stay in chongqing? If you don’t mind, I can take you a city tour in the coming Sunday! And it’s definitely fun and all expenses are mine! Please reply if you are interested! Looking forward to your reply!
I'm so hungry to see you guys eating, I must go to Chongqing, must.
I’m glad that I visited this city 😍 the city is so beautiful 😍😍
I hope that for your next trip to China, you can choose to visit the central major city - Changsha. You are also welcome to visit the surrounding small city of Yueyang. Located by Dongting Lake, there is a famous building called Yueyang Tower. The local delicacies such as freshwater fish and crayfish will definitely make your trip worthwhile!
